1. I did a big dump in the (thankfully tiled) hall last Friday and then literally straight after I did that an unaware Daddy opened the door to our Avon Lady, he hadn't even seen it as it was partway up the hall as well as being still 'hot off the press' - and even I didn't see it coming either! I ran and hid whilst my two hoomans tried to cope with Dettol spray, strong K Roll and a lot of smiles - like we're a 'house of hobo's' for goodness sakes, it was only a dump - albeit a real corker, snigger. Our Avon Lady hightailed it out of here though and I don't even smell that much! Mama can usually detect it from a loooong distance but Daddy has little or no sense of smell - ha, wait until he puts his slippers on next time! I think our Avon days are numbered though. Who cares, they don't do puppy food.
2. Mama went out late on Sunday for last minute shopping and for the very first time forgot to close the door to her craft room....stupid is as stupid does they say. When she came home both her and Daddy did think I was very quiet - peeking down at them whilst they put shopping away and then disappearing from view. Yup guys, I found the waste bin under her desk - tissues, bits of discarded paper, card and receipts - dog HEAVEN. But you know what, I KNOW someone was giggling as she picked up all the chewed pieces and the trail of paper I left - I do aim to please :)
3. And the last thing I did over that two days was to defiantly stand in the middle of the lounge, late evening and have a massive wee! TAKE THAT made a return performance! It's so funny when they shriek and run for cleaner, a scrubbing brush and paper towels - I quite like this puppy lark to be honest.
But, please take me off your naughty list!
Love and woofs from Dudley!
Oh Dudley--you are a character! Good thing you're cute, as we say at my house! And good thing your mom & dad love you! I wouldn't count on getting off Santa's naughty list, though--haha!
ReplyDeleteHehe you make me smile!!!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't stop laughing I almost pee'd myself. Don't worry Dudley puppies always make it back on the nice list :)
ReplyDeleteOh Dear, Dudley... what a little mischief maker you are, you must be better behaved to get back on Santa's nice list in time for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness - you really do have your hands full with that young Dudley!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Maxine
Haha, hilarious! My kind of dog, that's for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteLia xx
Well, you're not going to need a naughty elf for advent this year because you have one for 365 days of the year now!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, this is SO funny! xx
ReplyDeleteI think Santa will forgive you . . . especially as you're still in training! Too cute not to be on the "nice" list!
ReplyDeleteBin diving sounds like A LOT of fun . . . I mean, HOW could you resist trying that out if your hooman left the door open for goodness sake. That is just TOO MUCH TEMPTATION for a pup isn't it!? If it was a test, I think you failed it though! Better luck next time!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Priceless!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear (LOL) what can I say. Dudley, I'm sure Santa will forgive you.
ReplyDeleteSue xx
Poor Dudley, but I'm sure Santa will understand.... after all he does have reindeer who must get caught short at times! Ever wondered what that funny smell in the air is on christmas morning? xx
ReplyDeleteOh Dudley you naughty naughty boy, I can see you will have to be punished most severely, lots of hugs, cuddles and tummy tickles is what you need my lad. I am sure Santa wasnt looking and you will still get loads of presents from your hoomans. Doubt if the Avon lady will bother though, but as you say, they dont do Puppy Stuff anyway.
ReplyDeleteYou should be a writer Di...what a funny story..lol. Dudley is certainly making his presence felt, but I'm sure he will be forgiven. Perhaps the Avon lady will need to ask if it is safe to come in first, and at least no ink was involved in the craft room. You could have found him rainbow coloured by the time you came back..lol. x
ReplyDeleteSanta probably had the same problem with his reindeer. Okay, I doubt the Avon lady comes around the North Pole. So, you'll be okay. Your puppy behavior will most likely be excused. I'll send a note it you need one. [Bunny]````
ReplyDeleteOoh what a fab read Di Dudley is really going to keep you busy and amused as for Santa you will still be on his list for delivery....lol take care xx
ReplyDeleteyou have to love Dudley Lol bet he is forgiven xx
ReplyDeleteLilian
Too fun, Di! 😂 They say things happen in 3’s! Hope Dudley makes the Nice List. 😂 xx
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny! Made me laugh while I was reading it earlier. One of our dogs loves tissue and will eat them if he gets a chance so I have to be very careful where I dispose of them x
ReplyDeleteHehehe, this is priceless! Thanks for the chuckle! Dudley is quite the boy!
ReplyDeleteQuite the story, Di. Sure made me smile, as I DO understand both from Dudley's and your point of view. Thanks for sharing and good luck.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Jessie loves paper too - wonderful dogs for crafters. LOL
Well it looks like cuddly Dudley has blotted the hall, craft room and lounge, not to mention his copy book.
ReplyDeleteTell him if he does it again he will be sent up to Yorkshire to live with two little (oops can't call them little anymore) boys.
Kath x
Ah ah ah :D I think that Santa will understand his point of view LOL :D
ReplyDeleteWell you know what they say - puppies will be puppies. No wait, that's boys will be boys, but that's what Dudley is so it works. There are other products as good as Avon so don't fret. That's what air fresh sprays are for and he could have been pink and blue if he'd been in the inks. So Santa understands and Christmas should still come for Dudley! Such a fun story, Di.
ReplyDeleteUh oh, silly pup! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh, Dudley, I'm still laughing! I know the hoomans won't appreciate that, but maybe Santa will. :-D
ReplyDeletethats funny!
ReplyDeleteIm sure Santa will understand :D
Oh my goodness, this post gave me the biggest laugh that I've had all month! Poor Dudley will definitely have a lot of explaining to Santa, and I have a feeling there may be a spray bottle of cleaner and a roll of paper towels in Dudley's stocking this Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHis adventures in your craft room remind me of a time I unloaded a bag of craft supplies from the craft store, while sitting on the floor, and our Toby grabbed a sheet of happy face Santa stickers and took off with it! He ran under the table in the kitchen, but since he was all of about 6 inches tall I could see him easily. Puppies are such rascals but they do learn eventually, thank goodness.
