Remember this card?

I whined on in my blog post when I first used the die set that the eyes were far too large for the little ducks. And yesterday I stumbled over the reason WHY!

Them weren't eyes, them were wheels! No wonder the little die set came with so many of them - asses ears are pointed straight up into the air here :)

  3. Oh Di, you certainly have me chuckling... but then I am just as guilty of wearing a dunce's cap at times! Now you've found some wheels you'll be able to use those ducks in a whole new way. Can't wait to see your next card xx

  21. Hi Di,
I think we can all relate to something like this in our crafting journey.
That's one of the things that make crafting so much fun that we can laugh at ourselves and others when we get something wrong.
Love this wonderful card even without the wheels, and ducks wern't meant to have wheels they have webbed feet. lol.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  25. Oh Di, the asses ears are firmly pointed up in the air here too. Remember the little scottie/westie die I have just done a card with? Well it turns out that the bow is meant to go on top of the dogs head and not on the collar. I thought it was a tight fit!!!!!! What are we like. Hugs Mrs A.

  27. Haha! This just made me laugh. I've had the same kind of problem, where I used something incorrectly and thought it was a design flaw. That's why I try to find samples of die cut designs before I stumble along and try to figure out how it all goes together. Good thing you didn't try to use the large wheels as eyes!!

  32. Oh my gosh, this is too funny. I only feel that the big duck has zombie looking eyes but even then it isn't that bad.
