Just saying hello for Darnell's #3 NBUS challenge

Darnell is running her third NBUS (Never-Before-Used Schtuff) challenge to celebrate reaching yet another milestone in followers. And of course I wanted to play :)
I used:

- 3" x 7" small DL cream card blank

- my NBUS die - made by Poppystamps called 'Bijou Film Strip', die cut from a snippet of black card

- the teddy bear images are from a sheet of toppers by Little Claire

- the sentiment was stamped using a Hero Arts set called 'Truly Appreciated' and a VersaFine 'Vintage Sepia' ink pad

I do quite like how a couple of the images look as if the bears have taken 'selfies' - although I have to admit that in real life I have quite an aversion to them and just don't see the point. Selfies, not bears BTW!

Anyhow, why not come and join the NBUS party, there are very generous gift vouchers to be won - but most importantly it's a chance to celebrate with Darnell as well as using something new on your project! Just click on the logo below to find out more :)

  11. OMGosh this card is adorable Di! And it certainly does look like the bears were taking selfies, which I can say I don't get either-selfies that is. lol My one DIL is always taking selfies of herself and putting up on FB. I just don't get it, but I guess I'm not paid to get it. lol I have lots of NBUS too and hope to join in the challenge. You did a fabulous job with the film stripe die, I love it! Hugs, Brenda

  16. Ooh, the other day I saw a girl hand a guy a camera and ask him to take a "selfie" of her. LOL! There is someone who doesn't have a clue. Anyway, your card is so sweet. I can see lots of possibilities with that filmstrip die.
