Ho, ho, ho!

Not a very original title I know - it's my second attempt at 'a card for a boy or a man' for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge:
I used:

- A6 rib textured card stock, with bottom corners rounded

- sparkly image recycled from one of last year's Christmas cards - we came back from holiday on Tuesday to find the first one for this year had already arrived, help!

- sentiment printed off and then covered with double sided sticky film before adding a sprinkling of Glamour Dust

- a strip of felt snowflakes (sent to me by a lovely fellow blogger), I liked the fact that they're the same shape as the ones on the image

- silver Josy Rose nail heads in the centres of the 'snowflakes' and along the bottom left corner

Funny old afternoon here, I was cutting out circles of fabric to cover the pickle jars after the marathon pickling session a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly totally mislaid my specs - house turned upside down while I hunted high and low - then realised they were pushed up on top of my head :( Sigh, trying to do too much at once.

  1. Dang, you saw the swing? Summit said you were getting forgetful and walking around blind as a mole with your glasses perched jauntingly on your rooftop. When I see her, why I'll ...

I ADORE your bright and cheery red and white HO card perfect for ANY one. I just want to touch it and turn it back and forth in the light and even tho I'm certifiable, I think anyone would feel the same! Well done!!

  2. Fabulous card Di, love the Santa image. How many times have we all done exactly the same thing with our specs?? I also have a habit of losing my pen, then find it stuck in my ponytail!
    Have a great weekend.

  5. Love this latest card Di.
What happened to you with your glasses would never happen to me...why?....cos I never take mine off as I am as blind as a bat without mine :-) It's a real problem when I get something in my eye or need to put makeup on too! Old age eh?

  6. Thanks for another lovely card for my CHNC challenge 98. Sorry I've not been in the playground this week - so much to do, including a 300 Christmas card order - designed on computer and printed ... except the printer has been on a go-slow ... only 20 to do now, so the end is in sight! x

  16. Great use of a recycled card. Love all the sparkle. Do me a favor...would you check the top of your head for my missing die? You are right, when we try to do too much we spend much more time figuring out what we've done! This the season I guess. You recieved a card already...Oh Lord where did I put the Asprin Tablets!
