Here's the 7th prize in the 'Snippets Playground Christmas Draw':
You can see Darnell's card over HERE - huge thanks for letting me steal your gorgeous card image Darnell!
Mind you, even though Darnell very kindly donated the prize, I still had to run out and buy my own folder - it's fabulous! I just didn't get time to make my own sample. Shame as my idea was, and still is, to use gold as Darnell has for the embossed layer - with a red bow or similar on top of matching red card 'ribbon' crossed strips to look like a Christmas gift. You heard that idea here first remember!
So, here's the prize:
It's a fabulous Sizzix 3D 'Christmas Trees' embossing folder, kindly donated by Darnell. It's so elegant yet super fast for making sumptuous cards!
I'm so grateful for all the lovely donations (both Christmas themed and other items as well) that you Playmates have made, it's just mind blowing! Mwah!
Just leave a comment on this post you're currently looking at, if you would like the chance to win today's prize.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! Thank you, Darnell, for donating this lovely prize and making this exquisite sample. Yes, please!!!
ReplyDeleteMy what a time we have had of it here in my part of Idaho!! Winter storms are nothing out of the ordinary, and the 8 inches of snow we got this last week was nothing terribly unusual. But it was the weight of the snow that did the beleaguered power lines in. Oh, my. Power outages that usually get fixed within 8 hours took nearly 48 hours. We had blessed electricity for part of a day then it failed again for nearly 24 hours!! This always comes at inconvenient times!!! Ha. Is there ever a "convenient" time to lose power????
It very nearly took a deadly turn when a women up here was found unconscious in her freezing house covered in blankets and no fire. Her cell phone battery had died and she couldn't get out to get firewood. An alert medical supply driver who delivers to her house decided to check up on her and it is a good thing he did. The paramedics say she was maybe 2 hours from perishing from hypothermia! We as a community need to have some way to keep track of these frail ones who are living alone. It's hard, though, because they are so doggone independent!!! That's why they moved to this rugged, remote place in the first place!! God protect us all!
Okay....enough chatting. I will try to catch up on the commenting while we have power!!! Another storm is forecasted for tomorrow with 8 more inches possible...and who knows if it will knock out the power for a few more days! Take care. Stay safe! Thank you for these lovely giveaways and huge thanks to the generous playmates!!
