So, you could say I used big snippets this week :)
I used:
- DL white card stock
- SU patterned card
- snippet of red backing card
- Craftwork Cards sentiment layered onto a snippet of red card, punched with SU's oval punch - a perfect size for these sentiments
- two small black gems for the birdies eyes - the shadow thrown when I took the photo makes them look eerily large :)
BUT, for now no roll call - this grieves me so much as there are so many lovely makes to talk about this week. So, I propose to open the Playground as usual and then to do a roll call later which should be posted on this coming Tuesday for last week. I was out most of yesterday and will be out most of today (school reunion meeting). But, I'm still watching the antics girls!!
As a little token, here's a cute little thing I found on my travels to Reading this week:
It's nothing that special, but I LURVE my Bowmaker, and you can do double bows with it too. Just leave me a comment if you're a snippets playmate and like to make bows - even if you have no snippets card or whatever this time round saying 'YES PLEASE' if you'd like to be a winner, and you will be in the draw - I'll post to anywhere as usual. I do know everyone who calls in here though:)
If you wanna join in the Playground and keep using up those snippets - the Playground is open most of this coming week but it will close Friday 12th October at noon, UK time and I'll also do the Bowmaker draw then. I hope to be partying with a few WOYWW friends all day Saturday 13th - sorry !:) But the roll call should appear, with a new Mr Linky on Saturday morning 13th October with another roll call as I trot off to hug lots of bloggers on your behalf ....... confused, yup, me too!!!
Mr Linky is below as usual.

The only conditions to playing nicely in the Snippet Playground are that your card (or anything else you wish to bring here to show) must be made by using up snippets (card, paper, lace and ribbon are all fine), and a link back to here in your own blog posting will mean that you'll be included in the Weekly Roll Call. Oh, and no nipping or hair pulling of course :)
No worries, Di! Life has to be attended to, two, and too! Sometimes it's all those things! Your card is very sweet!!
ReplyDeleteYes please. Have fun at your school reunion. Will post my snippet card tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMorning Di, Me 1st in the playground yeah!!.......Big or small Di it all makes a card and yours is gorgeous!! its a great way of using up snippets and its amazing what we can come up with as you have here l suppose you could class it as a learning curve and just see what the end result turns out and most times good! have a great day xx

PS: YES PLEASE for the draw. I am crap at bows and need all the help I can get!
Great to see what you did with that bit of leftover card - it's lovely too. NO THANKS to the bowmaker ... I have one already, different but does the same job :) Have a lovely day today and enjoy yourself. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

Aw, I LIKE birds! This is a cutie of a card, and I thought the eyes looked fine. Great job, and doesn't show you rushed! LOL. The Playground is helping to get some of my 'snippets' cleared away from my pile of leftovers. Put a shout-out when I posted today, so maybe some new faces will show up to play in the new playhouse. Who's making the sign for over the door that says "Dun you worry about nuffin" ? I think we should have one...
ReplyDeleteCute snippet make Di .. .. loving the birds and fabby colours of your snippets.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer of the bowmaker .. .. that is very kind of you .. .. but it is already on my little shelf of "things I can't manage without" .. .. so someone is in for a lovely treat.
Hope your reunion is good fun .. .. though with you there I am sure it will be.
Love Jules xx
