Pixies Crafty Snippets Challenge - week 41

Following on from a card I posted on here on Friday............here's what I did in a HUGE rush with the left over piece of mustardy yellow patterned SU card - it already had an image on which was too good to waste:
So, you could say I used big snippets this week :)

I used:

- DL white card stock

- SU patterned card

- snippet of red backing card

- Craftwork Cards sentiment layered onto a snippet of red card, punched with SU's oval punch - a perfect size for these sentiments

- two small black gems for the birdies eyes - the shadow thrown when I took the photo makes them look eerily large :)

BUT, for now no roll call - this grieves me so much as there are so many lovely makes to talk about this week. So, I propose to open the Playground as usual and then to do a roll call later which should be posted on this coming Tuesday for last week. I was out most of yesterday and will be out most of today (school reunion meeting). But, I'm still watching the antics girls!!

As a little token, here's a cute little thing I found on my travels to Reading  this week:
It's nothing that special, but I LURVE my Bowmaker, and you can do double bows with it too. Just leave me a comment if you're a snippets playmate and like to make bows - even if you have no snippets card or whatever this time round saying 'YES PLEASE' if you'd like to be a winner, and you will be in the draw - I'll post to anywhere as usual. I do know everyone who calls in here though:)

If you wanna join in the Playground and keep using up those snippets - the Playground is open most of this coming week but it will close Friday 12th October at noon, UK time and I'll also do the Bowmaker draw then. I hope to be partying with a few WOYWW friends all day Saturday  13th - sorry !:) But the roll call should appear, with a new Mr Linky on Saturday morning 13th October with another roll call as I trot off to hug lots of bloggers on your behalf ....... confused, yup, me too!!!

Mr Linky is below as usual.

The only conditions to playing nicely in the Snippet Playground are that your card (or anything else you wish to bring here to show) must be made by using up snippets (card, paper, lace and ribbon are all fine), and a link back to here in your own blog posting will mean that you'll be included in the Weekly Roll Call. Oh, and no nipping or hair pulling of course :)

  8. Aw, I LIKE birds! This is a cutie of a card, and I thought the eyes looked fine. Great job, and doesn't show you rushed! LOL. The Playground is helping to get some of my 'snippets' cleared away from my pile of leftovers. Put a shout-out when I posted today, so maybe some new faces will show up to play in the new playhouse. Who's making the sign for over the door that says "Dun you worry about nuffin" ? I think we should have one...
