I used:
- A6 white card stock
- dark blue backing card
- image stamp called 'Travelling Far' by Stampendous and sentiment stamp by Personal Impressions from the 'Many Greetings' set - both stamped using Memento 'Paris Dusk'
These cards will be ideal for friends and family who will appreciate the real message of Christmas, which often gets lost in the Christmas commercialism and general frenzy. I kept them simple, partly to whip up some quickly, and also not to detract from what I think is a lovely image.
Why not join in? You know it makes sense, and Sarn has a lovely stamp set as this month's prize.
I'm also entering this into Craft Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge as well where the theme this week is 'Nativity' - to use an image or words which reflect the real meaning of Christmas.
And also this month's Going Buggy challenge, run by the very amusing Enfys, where the theme is non-traditional Christmas colours ie. not red and green.

What a lovely card focusing on the real meaning of Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI make cards for all tastes and my Mum and many of my relatives would only appreciate a Christmas card with a religious theme.
My Mum always says it has to have at the very least an angel...but a nativity is even better...she would like you! teehee
what a fabulous design, love the colour too. Must start panicking now as the birthday list keeps growing and the christmas cards are getting pushed further down the list. Hugs, Amanda x
