We actually have some pinky Christmas roses in the garden here and the centre piece of the image is fine, it's the branches that bug me a bit.
I used:
- A6 ready embossed silver card stock (I suspect this is so old it came from Lakeland - there are also a load of gold ones lurking in a box I see)
- Dufex Pyramage topper, supposedly a pink Christmas Rose/Hellebore
- snippet of pink ribbon
- sentiment from my goodies store
Quick and easy - just as well 'cos I then had to run round a lot of post boxes in North Hampshire posting 600 newsletters, as casually as possible :)
This won't surprise you, no Friday Feast today - time hasn't been exactly on my side and no way was I going to experiment last weekend with new recipes. It was as much as I could do to cook tried and tested meals when the girls were here. Unless you'd like my recipe for beans on toast?

Lovely pink card Di, very sparkly. Now your recipe for beans on toast could very well be different from mine, there may be a new twist like adding worcestershire sauce to the beans for an extra kick, or baby hotdog sausages or even cheese. ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty card, but I must admit I looked at it and thought apple blossom on a Christmas card; that's different. Then I read what you had put! I think I would swap the sentiment for Happy Birthday, but on the other hand, what's wrong with 'different'? At least it will stand out, hanging in a row of snowflakes and robins.
