I used:
- 6" x 6" square white card stock
- Penny Black 'Overdressed Duck' stamp - brought by Santa after I'd been drooling over it on another blog - coloured with Pro Markers
- backing papers from Bo Bunny's 'Father Christmas' collection
- dark green card from snippets
- sentiment by Craftwork Cards
- gossamer white and gold ribbon from The Ribbon Shop. I've posted about them before when I ordered a load of wedding stationery ribbon - and a couple of metres of this gossamer white and gold ribbon also fell into my online basket :)

Oh Di. You are sooooo organised. I am just so glad to have put away all my Christmas stash for this year .....but I think that is more about hospitals than the actual festivities :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,

I just wonder who Santa was when you were drooling, was it your fingers clicking on that mouse button? Love the card,
ReplyDeleteand the After Eights were purely medicinal!!! I get really bad indigestion at Christmas, and no one else likes them!!!

My gosh this is great! I need to jump on board with you!!! I never seem to have enough and then I end up sending boxed cards!!! Ha!
ReplyDeleteLove your layout and that Christmas Duck is fantastic!
A gorgeous card Di, I love the gold ribbon, its really Christmassy :)
ReplyDeleteA girl after my own "Elf" heart! Good for you my Pixie friend ;)
ReplyDeleteI've decided the same thing this year so I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us! Your card is too cute Di...great start!
Hi Di, I'm afraid I'm not as organised as you as my crimbo stash has been put away 'til October. I love this little duck, he's so sweet & the ribbon is goegeous.

Hi Di, Your card is brilliant, and what a great way to bring those numbers down by doing challenge throughout the year, that's how l manged to get the most of mine dine last year, and 60 cards is a lot when they are handmade Good luck with the challenge:) Sandra H
ReplyDeleteWell done you! not sure I can handle any more Christmas makes myself just yet. Gorgeous ribbon - I sometimes wish you hadn't posted about The Ribbon Shop. I have little gold boxes with beautifully labelled ribbons that I look at and then have to order ribbon to actually use from somewhere else!! Am I mad??? Carry on the good work Di. xx
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card! I was going to try and do one every week last year, and then forgot until September! Sixty cards would be a brilliant achievement. Go for it, Di!
ReplyDeleteThe world loves a tryer! One down 59 to go. Great card, love the duck. Great papers and layout too.
ReplyDeleteLoved your GG and Brownie message, I also loved the camping, I was always the cook too, not for me digging latrines.

Hi Di. I don't think I have bumped into you on Hazel's Christmas challenge blog before. I did it most weeks last year. I haven't come across Rudolf day but maybe I'll catch up with you there too. Anyway, I love your little duck. He (she?) looks very proud of her garlands!

ReplyDeletep.s. great card BTW,I nearly forgot to comment!!
Oh my Di, how organised are you, I feel like I only just finished last years. I also don't want to get caught out so maybe before putting all the christmas stuff away I should make a few. Hugs, Amanda x
ReplyDeleteWell done on starting your Christmas cards so early. I said I would make an effort this year to get all mine ready but I've put all my Christmas stuff away for a couple of weeks...I can't face it yet lol
ReplyDeletethe card is lovely.
Oh what a cute little duck. Maybe I should do some Rudolph cards too, then when my health lets me down (as it does often!) then I can still have some cards to send. Good job I made loads the year before!!! Have fun! K x
ReplyDeleteSuper card, Di ... love the image and the papers are fab. Now, I've said I won't be doing the weekly card this year but I might just manage a Rudolph day card as it is only once a month and I've a pile of snippets ... yes, not a bad idea my friend :)) Elizabeth x
