Our lovely Rainbow Horse and Peacock Princess Grand Daughters

Livi
 Mia

Birthday party face painting done by their lovely Mama, Kai.  I think she should go into business, that's one talented lady!

No card from me today - but it's great to see the Snippets Playground so busy. I'm hopping around and trying to keep up with you.

  1. Oh my, your grand-daughters are lovely! And the face-painting simply stunning! Even though I'm old enough to be a grandma, I don't have any (married late, at the ripe age of 52!!), but I am Aunty C for my amazing niece and nephew, who are 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 respectively. I didn't realize how BIG my heart would grow when those young ones entered my life. Love, love and love! You can see a photo of my niece sporting her purple bumble-bee face painting on my site (just enter bumble-bee in the search box). Grand-children, nieces, nephews: aren't they awesome!!!

  3. Aw, those big brown eyes in that sweet little face on #1 grand, just made me want to reach into the monitor to give her a big squeeze. What pretty little girls you have to love, and they were obviously having great fun getting their faces all designed. Thanks for sharing with blogland. Hope the back is lots better today. Hugs

  5. Fabulous photos there Di. The face painting looks great. I know my sister does it for her school sometimes. I went home one day with ice creams painted on my face, only it was rather embarrassing when I had to stop for petrol on the way!! LOL! I have a photo somewhere!!

  7. I agree. Face painting is very popular with little ones,Mama Kai has a talent. Don't waste it! Of course she has beautiful models!

Back to work I go. I'm house cleaning! Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I need to get my house in order! Tonight I will sneak away to head to the playground. Just a bit more glitter and glue time and I'll be at the gate!

  8. Two beautiful young ladies. I love those big brown eyes. Excellent face painting. It is an art to do something so well, and quickly enough for the little ones to sit still while it is done. Well done to her! Kate x

  9. Hi Di, thanks for putting those pics on your blog. Brought me a big smile, when I saw them. I must admit, I am using a book where they show step by step ... but it is actually still hard work for all of us, for the kids to keep still and for me to do the face painting. Well, it's always worth, because they are happy and proud to be face painted. kai xxx

  16. Hello Di,

What cuties! There's a woman that sets up a booth to do face painting at our craft fairs. She always has a line..... Kai certainly could do it!

    Hugs,
    Kay
