No more crafting for me until this lot is sorted out - that's my pledge for today. It's just piles of made, used, waiting to be put away, newly bought and waiting to be played with stuff. Just dumped and it's driving me totally nuts.
But, the prettily set out bit looks like this in close up:
From the left, top to bottom: a tag and ATC from Kyla (my WOYWW ATC link), then ATCs from Sarn, Judy, Jo, Annie, Sam, Judy, Judy, Judy and last but not least Rach. Snort, Judy ain't a gal to do things by halves is she? All amazing ATCs ladies and I'll treasure them - they look so lovely all laid out that I feel the need for a board of some sort to display them on :)
I also know I have a lovely ATC from Kay - I was emailing her about it, and had been showing it to Len so I just know it's tucked away somewhere safely, possible protected by the load of
Plus, more photos:
Such a pretty 'bits tub' from Jan last week when we had our WOYWW lunch - love all the sparkly 'jewels' and:
From Elizabeth, what a work of art! Loads of fabulous detail and enough to make me give up card making altogether :(
The lovely Julia's goodies are already in use, I don't suppose you'd also like a trip round my dressing table while you're here?
Now, run away over to Julia's to see what she's up to today - and then onwards for a good snoop at what everyone else is playing with this week. Do let me know if there's a desk in a bigger mess than mine is right now - I'd feel loads better :)

Hello Di, love your collection of ATCs - I'd have to have them hanging up somewhere within my line of vision - they are fabulous. Glad you liked the little photo album so much and I hope you'll enjoy using it. We did have a great afternoon did we now? Oh, and if you haven't already seen LLJ's blog there's a fab photo of us all round the table - we were so lucky with the weather :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeleteG'day Di, I like the look of your desk, it has a nice 'feel' to it even if things need to be put away. Fabby ATC's too, Right now I'm waiting for three to arrive from the UK and they will be the first ever that I've been involved with never having made them before.
ReplyDeleteIf I swap again I'll adopt your method of displaying them - super.
Cheers,
Elaine #33

Fab selection of ATCs - and your gifts from crafty friends are pure genius. Ali x #70
ReplyDeleteFabulous atc's I think you need a lovely frame to hang them on the wall. Gorgeous pressies too. Oh and lots of new goodies too, love new stuff. Hugs, Amanda x
ReplyDeleteHey! I recognize that stuff - but then I did see LLJs blog last night :) Lovely album, and I love seeing all the ATCs. I had fun making mine but doubt it's something that will be in heavy rotation for me. I think, like making cards from the scraps of scrapbook pages, I may plan on making ATCs from my arty play samples. Sounds like a plan!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

ReplyDeleteFantastic ATC's, there's so much talent out there! Also, think you bin is wonderful, I could really do with one of those!
As for the desk, it's messy, I can't lie but I am struggling to find the hammer and nails ;). Where have you hidden it??????
Big hugs xxxx

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit nervous visiting you today given that I've just read that you're on the prowl with a hammer! Gulp! Yes, your desk is quite messy but we'll let you off - after all, it's the sign of a busy, active and thoughtful mind, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteMorning Oh Messy One! Goodness me . . .
ReplyDeleteYou got lovely ATCs there - wasn't it a fun swap?
Put that hammer DOWN!

PS. Working on Sarn's Rudolph Challenge and all with snippets too!
Hi Di You all looked like you had a wonderful time meeting up. Beautiful gifts from fab friends. I have to point out though that if you don't get your pretty ATCs displayed you will have nowhere to work! WOYWW Hugs from Helen 89
ReplyDeleteBrilliant collection of goodies from others you have. I just loooovvvvveeeee that bin it is devine and so perfect, does she take orders? I don't think your desk is messy at all, just a little putting away of things and it will take you all of a nano second to achieve, so no stressing here ok.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy crafting filled week
Hugs Eliza
My desk is in about the same state as yours, no better, no worse. I have showcased your fabulous ATC to me today. That piece by Elizabeth, is that a flower made with a zipper?! Whatever it is, it is stunning. You are quite the lucky girl to have that. I hope you get your desk straightened up so you can have a good play. Me, I'll be at work, bored to tears for the next 8 hours. Okay, well, I guess I can visit desks until my eyes cross. Anyway, my point being by the time I get home I'll be so tired of doing nothing that I doubt I'll play. Ooh! But maybe a package of crafting goodies will arrive in which case I just might have to try them out. Right?! RIght! RIGHT!!!!!??!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat collection Di and l like to see an untidy desk it shows your a worker by the time l have finish one card my space is a total nightmare!! enjoy calling at yours :)x
ReplyDeletelove seeing your ATCs and I really like that bling bucket. have a great day
ReplyDeleteYou got a nice collection of ATC's! You also got Jan's lovely bling cup I see, and that's the combination I want, lol I think you got the best one ;) waving the #49 from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear Di. It looks as though it is tidy-up time. I have a similar pile of new, tried once and need to find a home for, items, but because mine are neatly tucked away on a shelf on my tidy-up tray, I can kid myself I have put them away, until I add one more item and the whole lot come tumbling down!
ReplyDeleteI love the ATCs, but I have to keep mine in folders. They fade too quickly on the wall. But I keep them to hand so I can browse through them regularly. They are a real source of inspiration.
The gifts from your crafting friends are lovely too. Kate x
maybe i should do that with the last 10 years of ATCs that no longer are in the RV adorning the walls and making it a mini gallery.
ReplyDeleteLovely ATCs there Di. Beautiful album by Elizabeth and lovely bling bin from Jan. I didn't recognise you in the photo without a flower in your hair!
ReplyDeleteI am going to put my ATCs on a decorated canvas at some point. I am still awaiting one more.
Hugs
xx
MY desk is worse than yours, but lucky me, its not yet driving me mad!! Fab collection of ATCs , didnt Judy do well!!
ReplyDeleteLovely ATC's, definitely display worthy! And your LLJ bling bin is cool - so jealous of your lunch date - maybe another one could be planned for a Tuesday so I can come and play....?? :-0
ReplyDeleteNow, tidy that desk, you slovenly wench (tee hee!)
Happy woyww
debs (far messier than thou) #146
The desk of a true crafter, well I would say that as mine is pretty similar, mostly for the fact that I keep losing things, cut out a pair of shorts to use to paper piece, totally disappeared off the face of my craft room.
ReplyDeleteKath x
Thanks for your lovely comment Di but a) I don't have any grass, b) I don't do ironing or only about once every couple of months, c) you are welcome to come and visit any time you fancy a bit of crafting in the sun, and d) I have a couple of ATCs looking for swaps. See my latest post here Kate x
ReplyDelete#150 Hi Di your desk doesn't look as messy as mine, and the rest of the room, and the landing and the dining room -Oh yes it's just spread to the kitchen table as well. Hangs head in shame. Lovely ATC's Anne x

Hi Di! Lovely collections of ATC's, I'm still sending a few out, gone and forgotten who to!! And I've been reading all about your get together with fellow woywwers, what great fun you've had! I'm in the middle of having my door and windows done, just me and the cat that isn't ours in hubby's office, typing and keeping out of the way!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if they'll put a new cat flap in the new door!?!
oops forgot the paste and copy bit!!
