    So sad to hear she passed - but what a shining example of devotion to duty and she certainly fulfilled her vow to serve!

    Feel quite tearful about it - silly really as it's not like I knew her - but it's just SO sad. Definitely the end of an era. Wholeheartedly agree with Maxine's comment above about her being a shining example. xxx

    I'm sure she would have been truly amazed by the outpouring of love and affection for her all around the world...she had a profound effect on everyone, and her commitment to the job was absolutely 100%. I love the cartoon and that piece with Paddington was so unexpected but she did it perfectly. An amazing lady who will be greatly missed. x
