Here's the 22nd prize in the 'Snippets Playground Christmas Draw':
It's two more stamps from Jackie T, and it's actually the final two from her massively generous donation. The stamps are Sweet Dixie of course and are called 'Funky Bauble' and 'Oh Christmas Tree'. Thank you once again Jackie for your part in making the Grand Draw such a success.

And here's the news I've been keeping to myself for months now. Today it's exactly 10 years since I took over the Playground keys from Jules. And to celebrate, in one week's time - the day after the Grand Draw has closed - the Snippets Playground will have its very own, new, fresh and fun blog!
Be sure to mark Sunday 9th January 2022 down in your diary! Here's a badge for your own blog as a taster. ☺
I'm thrilled to pieces and hugely grateful to the incredibly talented Loll who designed the new
Snippets Playground blog. My own Pixies Crafty Workshop blog will
continue and I will add reminders and links in 'Pixies' to
new Snippets Playground posts, certainly in the early days. Do be sure to become a follower of the new blog so that it can fly on its own please.
Do please come and play - our motto will be 'Snippets Playground .... where the sun is always shining'. So let's make it a happy and fun place folks. Of course the tree house, bicycle shed, swings, see-saw etc. will still be there at your disposal. And Dudley will still be keeping watch. ☺
Picks and prizes will continue, not always with samples though - this place is bursting at the seams! I still have some duplicates but not as many as there used to be. It's also a chance for me to explore all the fabulous techniques you use when making snippets cards rather than being bound by 'samples'. I can see some fun times ahead.

These changes you mentioned sound just great, Di. We want this to be fun for you, too....and trying out new techniques instead of being tied to showcasing the prizes each fortnight is perfect....although we do love seeing the way you use the prize duplicates!!
We are starting off the New Year with 16 inches of snow on the ground and very cold temps near 0 F. with pipes half frozen up. We don't have to worry abt the pipes bursting...they can freeze and thaw without problems...but we are a bit concerned with the well pump fittings etc that are on the surface. Hopefully we will not need to call the pump guy...($$$$).

ReplyDeleteSounds like exciting times ahead and play can continue in the Playgroud which is excellent news. I know I don't show my face there these days, but I'm with you in spirit from my own treehouse (on the day's my legs will take me up the ladder that is). Mind you, as Alex built it for the children it's a pretty dry environment apart from Ribena and OJ.
