However, Christine put together some 'rainbow' mini card kits during April to raise money for the NHS. Here are the end results, all just 4" x 4" square in size:
Self-explanatory really, all I needed was glue and thin sticky pads, even the sentiments were already stamped - so relaxing to make a card from a kit. As well as raise money for worthwhile causes.
My only boo-boo was the card with the heart rainbow arching out of the small white envelope. I managed to mislay the mini envelope from the kit! However, it was an ideal excuse to treat myself to MFT's 'Mini Mail' set of dies. So cute - and the set comes with the lovely envelope to fold, plain and scalloped inserts, little stamps shapes, tiny hearts and a few other dies. I think the mini envelopes will be a lovely addition to Christmas cards as well.
And, as I used the set of dies for the very first time, I'm joining in again with Darnell's NBUS Challenge #14 for May.
Sheesh - I actually typed April just then, before remembering that it has whizzed past and we're now into May! And, May's card kit is already on the way to 'chez moi'.
A fabulous and colourful collection - also an excuse to acquire something new by the sound of it!!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely cards Di. You may have seen on my blog that I've bought the May kit (after seeing the March kit on your blog!).

These are all great little kits. After seeing your original post about them, I bought the kit with the door and envelope. Bet your promotion of Christine's kits is the reason they flew out the door and you missed out on one of them! LOL!

Lovely cards Di and looks like you have to be quick ordering the charity card kits as they seem to sell out very quickly x
ReplyDeleteThis kit is so dang cute Di, I am loving all the cards and I am guessing they were pretty fast to put together. How cool that the stamping is already done! I love the rainbows of hearts on each card. But best of all, I love that you get to play and help raise money for NHS. Win, Win! Looks like Dudley has a birthday coming up before long! I keep forgetting him and Maverick have birthday's so close together. Hugs, Brenda

ReplyDeleteWOW, WOW, WOW, Di! I think that's the best kit I've ever seen and the cards are so clean, crisp, and uplifting with the bright rainbow colors! Just fabulous! I went over and looked up this lady and, gee, it's too bad she's such a lay-about, isn't it?!!! I feel like a positive sloth now, lol! She is certainly an inspiration and I love that she is doing so much for charity and that you're supporting her. Take care and keep safe and thank you for sharing again at NBUS! Mwah! Hugs, Darnell

ReplyDeleteI did these too - sometimes it's just nice not to think isn't it. I already have the MFT dies - so got them out to make my own version - and it's all still sat there lol! The recipients of mine loved them, so job done.
