Birthday card for a 2 year old

One of our little neighbours (Jack) just celebrated his 2nd Birthday. As I was up to my eyes with the Snippets Giveaway, Len came to the rescue and pulled together a picture for me to use - and this is the end result:
I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card blank

- slightly smaller square of yellow card, from the snippets folder, glued onto the card front

- then the trimmed image panel, glued on top of the yellow layer

- finishing touch - a thick coating of Glossy Accents on the cherry

Thank you Len! Saved my bacon once again.

All the Snippets Playground prizes (apart from one) have now been posted. Am still waiting to hear from one winner - 'Hello, anyone there Maxine?!'.

  13. Hi Di,
what would we do with our in house critics.
Len came to rescue nicely, and the card is wonderful and brilliant.
I remember making a card for my BIL who loved tea and drank at least 20 cupe a day.
It was quite early on in my blog life too.
I made a card with a cup and saucer on as he didn't like tea from a mug.
Then my in house critic suggestted to put tea inside the cup which I did with an appropriate Promarker.
This has been the most popular card even to this day people still view it.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  14. Well done Len, when are you getting a blog?
Hope you are not as 'up to your eyes' in it now Di and I am sure that Jack will love the card.
How different men are, I was asked today by Chris if I could make him a card with the name Kath on it! Don't fancy swopping by any chance?
