Time for another Christmassy 'Snippets Playground Celebration' prize - and this is
NOT my snippets card:
It's the most beautiful Christmas card from our lovely
Playmate Sarn! I know, she's taking a break but I asked permission to use this lovely card as an example for today's prize. The photo certainly doesn't do it justice for sure - it's really fabulous, even more so in real life.
I expect Sarn used a snippet of SU (Marina Mist?) blue card and the rest is all down to one brilliant stamp set. But, of course it's how you use it that matters - I do know it's a mix of at least first and second generation stamping - plus some Wink of Stella - and it's just wonderful.Very clever Sarn my leetle friend!
And so, this is today's prize:
An Inkylicious 'Winter Snow Pines - Large' stamp (image take from their website due to such bad light conditions here) - the same as the one Sarn used. Ahem, and someone also residing here really has messed up some of her ordering so we actually have
three of these on offer! I ordered one stamp set for me and one as a prize - then forgot I'd done so and did a second order! Duh. I
love it in blue of course and am sure greens would also work really well - or shades of grey even with a red frame?
At
the end of all of the celebrations I'll do a massive draw session for all the prizes using
the
one Mr Linky - which is on the main snippets post
HERE - so you do need to
have entered one snippets make over on that post during this fortnight to be in with a chance :)
Maximum of one entry please - to keep things fair for those who may not have time to craft - Mr Linky closes at 11am on Saturday 6th January.
Just leave a comment on this post if you would like the chance to win today's prize.
Needless to say - little Parsnip made a pig of himself yesterday. Opening and trying every possible snack and piece of confectionery he could lay his paws on. All on top of a huge Christmas dinner as well. Someone was groaning and whimpering for Alkaseltzers :)
I hope you all had a lovely day and were much more restrained than our own little Hampshire piglet! :)
A definite 'yes please' from me! Lovely stamp. Sarn's card is absolutely beautiful! I hope you had a wonderful day - it sounds like Parsnip did and is paying for it now! Hugs xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteWe have had a lovely relaxing day here and have only mildly over indulged..lol. These Inkilicious trees are beautiful Di so I am a definite 'yes please' for this prize. x
ReplyDeleteSorry, I meant to say that Sarn's card is gorgeous, and I love the trees in that pretty blue. x
DeleteYes Please from me for my name to go into pot for one of these lovely stamps. Sarn's card is fabulous, so atmospheric. No overindulging here, picked up a stomach bug on Friday and still suffering. Missed out on seeing family, Christmas lunch, as well as the odd drink or two......oh, and no chocolate! 😞 On the plus side, we've no recorded TV programmes to catch up on. 😉 x
ReplyDeleteOh Liz - what timing! Get well soon and I hope you can make up for lost time :)
DeleteHugs
Di xx
Yes please for this fabulous stamp set.
ReplyDeleteRelaxing today as it is Boxing Day here, after visitors for lunch left us
Yes please! The trees are so beautiful, this is a fabulous sample showcasing this pretty tree stamp!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Sarn let you show us this gorgeous card--looks like a painting of Oregon! I'll put my name in the pot as I love that the trees are already arranged--something I struggle with using my individual tree stamps. Hope you had a lovely Christmas. Quiet at our house except for Fritz enjoying his new toy. I'll share a picture if one came out.
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing card, well done Sarn, it looks like a muted photo! Hope you are enjoying a well deserved break Di, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card :) love the elegance. Yes please for the prize. Thank you
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays!
Hugs
A beautiful card from Sarn, it really showcases the lovely card and I'd love to go into the hat for it. We had a pretty quiet Christmas, just us and Mark's brother, so there was no overindulging but we plan to make up for that today when the family descend on us for Christmas Day Part 2
ReplyDeleteJane
A gorgeous card with such a lovely stamp so yes please for me in the draw please. Quiet day for us yesterday but all family here today so it’s our busy day x
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing card, and an amazing stamp Di - please include me in the draw, Poor Parsnip - fancy letting him run rampart until he felt ill - next Christmas is too far away for him to remember, so you will really have to keep an eye out for him next year Di. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings

ReplyDeleteHappy Boxing Day. I'm with Parsnip!! Tried a bit of this and a bit of that yesterday. Well, why not!! Lovely stamp and card. Yes please to include me in the draw. This is fun. HUgz
ReplyDeleteThat card is certainly beautiful and we cannot see it irl so do not get the Wink of Stella effect which must add to something that is beautiful to begin with.
ReplyDeleteI would love the chance to win one of those stamps. I was so behind with my cards this year and got in such a pickle that this could set me off to a good start. Love it in that blue but as you say green/grey would probably look good to.
Thanks for the chance to win one.
Hugs and Happy New Year, Neet xx
What a serene scene it looks like. Would love to be in the draw Di
ReplyDeleteCheers
Dr Sonia

GOOD LUCK in the draw everyone. Thank you for all the kind comments on my card . . . but truly, that lovely stamp does ALL the work for you. I did use Marina Mist SU ink but I love Di's ideas for alternative colours.
ReplyDeleteNaughty Parsnip . . . bet he's being quiet today (for a change!).
Hugs and a Happy New Year to all.
Sarn xxx

That Sarn is so clever and so modest, she doesn't realise how clever she is! Would love the chance of this one, I fancy a go at your shades of grey idea! Xxx
ReplyDeleteOooh, what a gorgeous stamp... "Yes Please" to the draw for this one thanks :-)) I haven't entered my snippets make yet, but I DID just read "da rules" and (think/hope) that it's okay to jump in and leave a comment on the goodies I'd like to be in the running for even before I do my entry (which should, wine permitting, be later this evening, hic). Hope you had a lovely Christmas, I've just offloaded the demi-demented MIL after visiting the FULLY demented Dad.... hence the wine... and feel I'm more than ready to start the festivities :-))Donna xx
ReplyDeleteYes Donna, all I ask is that people have linked just the one snippets make by the time the Playground gates close on Saturday 6th January, 11am UK time - so there's actually still a week left right now! x
Deleteooh, wow, stunning card, I love these winter scenes ...
ReplyDeleteyes please to the stamp.
hugs xx
Hi Di your card is stunning I love that stamp set so yes please to be entered into the draw. Take care. Hugs Jackie

ReplyDeleteJanice x
Hi Miss, YESSss please! What a yummy stamp, Sarn's stamping is sooo clever, wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSounds like your Christmas has been very busy too, with all Parsnip's shenangigans... what a naughty troublesome bear he can be, and seems totally oblivious to the fact!!!
Thanks for being so excessively generous.
Shaz in Oz. X
Oh, gorgeous card, Di! Wonderful stamp, of course, but Sarn's stamping is so elegant. I'm playing for the prize but am happy to share wherever possible. :-D
ReplyDeleteWow, this is stunning, would love to play along for this stamp. Will rustle up a snippets make tomorrow. On the bright side we forgot to set the TV recorder (video was so much quicker to type!) before going visiting so less time needed to catch up on telly and more time to craft! Sending festive hugs x
ReplyDeleteYes please for a chance to win this wonderful stamp set. Those trees are just gorgeous, both on the stamp set and on Sarn's card. DH and I enjoyed a lovely and quiet Christmas with a dear friend, who joined us for drinks and dinner.
ReplyDeleteMarianne x

ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I am in awe of Sarn's exquisite card. Just so gorgeous. Yes, please, to being in the draw for this lovely stamp. Thank you so much for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteAwwww....poor Parsnip. I am sure he is feeling better by now and finishing up the last tidbits of any Christmas goodies he can still find around the house!
I didn't bake this holiday season, thinking that would help me avoid over-indulgence. Ha. You should have seen me (or maybe not!!) tear into the two lovely boxes of home-made goodies delivered to us from friends and neighbors!! Nom nom nom.... :)
