Taking it easy
No card from me today - right now am taking things easy with little spells of walking around. So no humping of boxes of card stock from shelves and such at the moment. But, am keeping up with the Playground at least!

It's no flipping wonder I have neck, shoulder and back issues carrying huge adornments like that around - what was my Mum thinking of?! :) Bless her.

ReplyDeleteBless her, indeed. You poor girl. Wringing your hands. Looking for all the world like you're thinking, "Please, someone, anyone, take this enormous bow off my head!" It's good that you have tracked down the source of your maladies, Di, and that you are keeping your delightful sense of humor, but do take care, dear heart. You are precious to a good many bazillions of Playmates and one Parsnip! Sending love and gentle hugs! Darnell
ReplyDeleteYou were such a cutie, Di! I love seeing old photos! Those bows are actually back in style and very trendy with the tweens, thanks to JoJo Siwa of Dance Moms fame! Hope you feel better soon. Glad you're taking it easy. Sending lots of hugs and well wishes!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!

ReplyDeleteTerrific photo of little you! I see that the penchant for bows in your hair later turned into cocktail flowers (see blog profile photo).

ReplyDeleteSuper photo of tiny you, Di. That bow is ginormous!! It's good that you are resting and taking care of your back. Take card dear friend - we want you back in the playground fit enough to participate in the skipping league - today the playground, next year World Domination :) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeleteYou were cute as a button Di. I have a photo very similar to that with a bow in my hair, but not quite as large as this one though. Glad you are taking it carefully as we need you fit and well to keep us all in order. x

ReplyDeleteAw, cute plus, a very neat tidy bow y'know Di, and just fir record have seen other cuties with equally big bows, perhaps the back issues are more likely to do with the tumble out the tree house when we were playing hide n seek, and Parsnip accidentally tripped you in his hurry :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and prayers dear Di,
Shaz.x

ReplyDeleteSoooo cute! I also had bows like this when I was 3 or 4 years old, so this was an international kind of hairdressing!
