Cuttlebug Mania Challenge - 'Tic-Tac-Toe'

Time for another Cuttlebug Mania Challenge and the theme this time is 'Tic, Tac, Toe'.

I sat and pondered for absolutely ages as I'm hopeless at making decisions and there's so much choice! Then realised that the Birthday card I was making at the time was a perfect fit to two of the lines! It fitted in with Animal(s) - Die cuts - Sentiment. (It also fitted Floral (the little confetti-like pattern is a mix of hearts and flowers) - Die cuts - Number - yay!)

You do have to use a manual die cutting/embossing machine for Cuttlebug Mania entries (it doesn't need to be a Cuttlebug but it must be manual, not electronic). And, you can't mix the two, it must be all manual please. Then make your entry, link into the challenge, link to the challenge in your own blog post and and make sure that you also say what products you used for any die cutting/embossing.

This is my DT card which is for a cute little grand daughter, Olivia (aka Livi) who is 7 today:

 I used:

- A5 sized card which came in the Hunkydory 'Perfect Princesses'  set of goodies which we were given after the Coventry workshops, scored and folded

- the main topper came from a matching sheet of toppers called 'Magical Kingdom' and I just added some sellotape behind the image to keep the scalloped outer ring in place and put it to one side while I sorted out the rest of the card

- also chose a small topper for the top right hand corner - again, set it to one side while I played

- die cut the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment using some silver Xcut adhesive metal effect sheet and a Presscut 'Happy Birthday #1' die, peeled away the backing and popped it onto the top left of the card

- die cut the number 7 (using Memory Box 'Classic Numbers' die set), again with some silver Xcut adhesive metal effect sheet, and added it to the main image topper

- die cut 'OLIVIA', again from the self adhesive silver sheet using First Editions 'Alphabet Sans Serif' dies

- stuck the main scalloped image topper in place using Collall All Purpose glue and then added the self adhesive 'OLIVIA' letters underneath

- added the small round topper to the top right hand corner using glue

- the bag of goodies also contained a huge array of card inserts, to match up with the cards so I stuck one of those inside to finish off

Happy Birthday Livi!
