'My favourite five cards of 2015' is an annual challenge run by
Debby of 'A Scrapjourney'. If you don't already follow Debby then you're missing a treat - she's
very talented and makes some beautiful cards and layouts.
2015 was the year I got into 'punch art' - and had such fun making ninja's, dragons, Santas .............. and minions.
Lots of us went a bit mad over the really whimsical 'Crazy Birds' by Tim Holtz. As usual, I was late to the party but got there in the end! LOVE these stamps and the accessories are just such fun.
I really enjoy building little scenes using dies and this was my favourite scenic card of the year.
Len celebrated a special Birthday, and I made this guitar card for him, just love the clean lines (not my original idea I hasten to add!).
I returned to my 'old style' of image, ribbon, charm and flower to make this card - for a friend's grand daughter. I'd forgotten quite how many different boxes of craft stuff gets hauled out of the cupboards in the process!
That's my offering of favourites - have you done yours yet? Be quick as I think Mr Linky over at Debby's will close very soon.

I love all your picks Di. The two children's cards are so clever and the guitar for Len is a great idea too, and the PB Hedgie and the Crazy Bird cards are so cute. x
ReplyDeleteAll of these are gorgeous Di! I am in love with those Minions and the first card just makes me smile and giggle like a kid. Actually so do the Crazy Birds, and I'm now wondering if I'm having a third childhood phase lol! I also adore the scene card you created with the dies, it's so clever and so perfect. The card you created for Mr Len is one of my favourites by you too, again it's very clever and fits him perfectly from what you tell us. I also adore the PB Hedgehogs and again your card is fabulous, must get a PB hedgehog or two this year - they will have to go to the top of the wish list lol! All of them are gorgeous Karen xx
ReplyDeleteHi Di all your cards are gorgeous. I bet you had fun choosing. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful selection of cards - those minions - I just wanna hug them! The crazy bird - always a winner and the guitar card - genius (even if you got it from somewhere else). Hedgie always makes me smile and that train card is just so perfect for a little boy!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great collection of cards! I adore those cute minions, but the crazy bird gets me every time! I need to get on board with those stamps before they're retired! Well done on your favorite five!
ReplyDeleteOoh Di I am so glad you shared a punchart creation...I used to love punches till I got obsessed with dies...now my punches are lying neglected! You have so inspired me to get them out. I love the guitar card and I am planning to case it!! Cheers

Such marvelous cards Di - beautiful :-D xxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Di.......Again your picks are stunning xx
ReplyDeleteI think it's good to re-visit and isn't it funny how we move to new styles or techniques and forget about others. I think I like the last one best even though I rarely make that sort of card. I like the colours and paper very much. Mess is part of it I'm afraid!
ReplyDeleteLove them all, and you! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Em
I think you may have picked some of my favorites too, as I remember all of them xxx

Great collection from 2015!
ReplyDeleteNice to see your brilliant makes all over again.
ReplyDeleteNice to see your brilliant makes all over again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun variety of cards. That last card seems so fussy after the clean lines of the ones before it. I don't make cards with that much frou-frou on them yet I still manage to pull out a zillion boxes!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny PJ - I'm much happier making cards with cleaner lines these days. Still shudder at the thought of grunge :)
DeleteDi xx
Oh my gosh Di, these are all so cute and fun, great choice for your top 5!
