I truly didn't think I'd find time to enter into Merry Monday (where it's 'Penguins'), Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge (include a sentiment) and Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra (always anything goes). But I did it - all with one card:
I used:
- A6 white card blank
- using the same batch of card stock I then embossed a panel using Darice's 'Snowflake Swirl'
- again using the same white card stock I stamped the cute little penguins and sentiment using a Penny Black Slapstick stamp set called 'Carolling Penguins' and Memento 'Tuxedo Black ink. Then coloured them using Whispers markers, a grey Pro marker and tickled the hats and bobbles with clear 'Wink of Stella'
- die cut the image/sentiment panel using a die from Spellbinders Labels One set and popped it onto the card from using thin sticky pads
I added nothing extra as the image and sentiment needed to take centre stage, plus it's high time I made a few 'flatter' cards for posting - although I did make four the same whilst at it of course :)
Aw, bless her - Sam from Whispers hopped over and suggested that I link this into 'Penny Black and More' - where it's anything stamped with a sentiment - wahoo. Here I am sweet girl! And I have an even better one waiting in the wings :)
