Little notebooks

Around Easter time I finally sent a notebook (that I prettied up ages ago) to our DIL in Germany, covered with paper and decorated with ribbons down the spine. Of course, two little girls went wild over it so I dollied these very similar ones up to send:
I used:

 - A6 sized, lined, paper mache note book - details of supplier are below

 - papers from Craftwork Cards ''Kitsch Collection'

 - owl and elephant toppers from the same collection - and a patchwork flower one on the back cover

- Papermania dome stickers for the girlies names (Mia and Livi)

 - then I trotted off into Hobbycraft clutching the notebooks to find the best match of gingham ribbon I could to just knot around the spirals

The notebooks can be had from from eBay HERE. The original place I bought mine from on eBay is now out of stock so these are a tiny bit more expensive. I know that I was given a tipoff where else to find the little books to cover, needless to say I've lost the details!

No doubt they will be filled with scribbles in no time, but they're such fun to do anyhow :)

    Beautiful little notebooks Di, and they look perfect with the ribbons,what a lovely gift -I am sure the girls will love them!
    I bought two of the blank Kraft 8x8 scrapbook albums from Hobbycraft in the sale-but I just can't decide what to use them for!....recipe book?-album for Jay photos?,Art journal?-oooh,wish I had bought half a dozen of them now lol!!

    These are both so very cute! You did such a lovely job on these.

    Kids love little books like this..Little Miss C is probably about the same age as your eldest grandaughter, and she is right into these type of books too!.
