My first 'port of call' was a set of LOTV pre-coloured art pad images and then I just took it from there:
I used:
- 5" x 5" square white hammered card blank
- dark blue plain pearlescent backing paper as the main 'frame'
- a snippet of blue and white snowflake backing paper, from LOTV's 'Frosty Christmas' paper pad
- snippet of white hammered card, die cut into a 'stitched curve' using a Spellbinders Borderabilities 'A2 Curved Borders One die'
- the sentiment is from the 'Many Greetings' set, by Personal Impressions, stamped using Memento 'Paris Dusk' ink pad
- a pre-coloured image from LOTV's 'Christmas Angels' art pad, die cut using a Spellbinders 'Labels One' die - popped onto the backing using thin sticky pads
And whilst at it, I made three exactly the same :)
PS, Just spotted that this card is also eligible for the Winter Wonderland challenge, which is 'Blue Christmas'!

Aaaah! Delightful, Di! A sweet topper and a perfect background! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteThr cute image looks lovely against the winter background scene. Fab card! xx
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet little angel Di, and love the snowflakes and snow banks in the background, and over that the pretty shaped topper with the angel image, and all in lovely shades of blue. x
ReplyDeleteLovely! That stitched border die is so beautiful...and this sweet little anget is perfect with your scenic background.
ReplyDeleteI will show the before and after of that dresser and hutch top...I promise. I am thinking of white chalf paint and then sanding a couple of the edges slightly. I will add a drop of the aqua wall paint to the wax and hopefully the sanded bits will pick up the aqua glintt. I have some satiny silver looking drawer pulls left over from a reno at the last house...so plan to use them on the dresser. Hopefully I have enough of them...
OHHH, So gorgeous, love this sweet topper and BG papers!!
