Cuttlebug Mania - 'I {heart} You'

I just joined Cuttlebug Mania's Design Team, wahoo!! Please be kind, this is my first challenge - called 'I {heart} You' and what a great theme to start off on. In fact, I had so many heart shaped dies it was hard to choose which to use.

We are sponsored by 'Yours or Mine Papercrafts' and I do hope you'll play along:

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card blank

- snippets of SU's 'Melon Mambo' card stock and also snippets of Centura 'Pearlescent White' card stock

- using a snippet of Melon Mambo I die cut the plain Memory Box 'Cupid Heart' as a backing

- then die cut the Memory Box 'Butterfly Heart' using Centura Pearlescent White. Now that was fun as the die doesn't actually cut round the edge of the heart shape but by using the plain Cupid Heart die that was soon resolved

- added a plain band of Centura Pearlescent Pearl White card across the width of the card, popped onto a backing of Melon Mambo as edging

- sentiment was die cut using Cheery Lynn's 'Love' word die, backed with Stick-It of course

- finally carefully stuck both layers of the heart together, taking care to avoid the butterflies. Popped the heart onto the card using thin sticky pads then gently flicked up all the little butterfly wings
