Not to worry, my next hospital 'emergency eye clinic' (excuse me while I choke laughing) appointment is a week on Thursday - so that's alright then.
Meanwhile, back to upping the meds and pretending it's nice having sandpaper rubbed over your eyeball all the time :(
Great to see the Playground so busy - I'm keeping my good eye on you all :)

ReplyDeleteHi Di, Couldn't see your pirate on my PC half an hour ago but it's there now!!! I'm sorry to find your eye is still not healed and that you have to wait so long to be seen at the clinic. You're not alone experiencing problems being seen. My poor niece, who has Type 1 diabetes, has a machine that is supposed to inject insulin as and when required but it broke down on Christmas Day. Needless to say, not only has she been unable to get a replacement but her blood sugars have escalated out of control even despite her self injecting and she, poor dear, was stuck in hospital for 24 hours with no one available to do anything about it. She now has to wait for a replacement machine to come from America but hopefully she is going to see a specialist today who can do something to help her. It's been a nightmare!!! Unfortunately, my rotten cold has gone into my chest triggering yet another asthma attack which means I can't even visit her. I shall be so glad when the rest of the holiday is over and hopefully we can all get back to normal. Hope the sandpaper feeling eases off and you start to feel more comfortable soon. ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have eye trouble again. I truly sympathise with you after my little trouble earlier this month. Seems alot of peeps have been poorly over Christmas me and my Mum included. Ho Hum!
