Seize the Kenny K Birthday

The current challenge over at Seize the Birthday follows last week's sketch, only this week it's to make a card for the male of the species - always a tough call for me but here's my card:
And this is the sketch:
I used:

- A5 white card stock

- Kenny K image (pre-coloured!) from the Kool Kids set of four images, by The Hobby House

- SU 'Real Red' and 'Marina Mist' card behind the image and a strip of 'Real Red', run through the 'ribbler' (which I never, ever think to use)

- sentiment is from a set by Hero Arts called 'Good Friends', stamped in Memento 'Tuxedo Black'

We have a few boys' birthdays coming up shortly so at least I have one in hand now :)

I have a new follower - called Pixie, and it isn't me either (I have been known to accidentally follow meself on here)!! I don't think this Pixie has a blog but what a lovely surprise - we'll be taking over soon, you just wait and see.

  4. Hi Di

What a great card for a male of the species .. .. fabulous colouring of that great image!!!

I follow my blog .. .. just as a way of knowing my posts have gone up properly.

Sometimes I can post and it is there on my blog but if I look on my dashboard it isn't there. Sometimes it appears on my dashboard hours later and has even been know to make an appearance the next day instead!!! I wonder what that is all about.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get here .. .. it has been a very busy old week for me this week!!!

    Have a good weekend.

    Love Jules xx

  8. What do you call a collection of Pixie's then lol?

Great card Di, the sketch left the design quite open and you've cracked it. Great colours and perfect for a young or older fella.

Have a great weekend, big hugs xx

  9. Nothing wrong with a bit of Pixie Dust in the world Di. Love the card, I've never been that keen on KennyK images but this one is really cool and you did a great job of colouring it.
