A Saturday quickie

So fast to whip up - even at my snail's pace:
I used:

- bits from a Kan Ban card kit called 'Special Moments', found whilst sorting out the craft room here - the card is just one of the backing sheets trimmed, scored  and folded in half to A5 size

- a few self-adhesive pearls

We had about 6" of snow here yesterday in the end - hope you're all keeping warm and safe!

  2. I have that card kit too, just need to find it in amongst the stuff in my room. Really pretty card Di. Had about 5 inches of snow here, the garden looks gorgeous. Hugs, Amanda x

  3. This is beyond precious, Di! It's one that deserves to be clicked and enlarged to see those layers and how you overlapped the image. I love the diagonal treatment, too, and the pearls! Can't believe you "whipped this up fast!"

I'm pulling on my boots and will head over with a shovel (to be attached to Mister, of course!)

  8. Might've been quick to make, but it looks FAB.

6" of snow . . . I have snow envy as I barely got an inch of the stuff. That's IT, I'm coming over to you for a snowball fight.

  9. That is so cute! I always thought that I didn't like pin... but after seeing this card (and the MOST GORGEOUS chair at Ikea today) I think I may be wrong.
I love the diagonal in the background - really sets off the balloon in the main piccie. Adorable!
You are so talented... I can't make cards nomatter how hard I try :(

  10. Fabulous card Di, love the colours and like it even more if it was a quick make.
4" here. Took your advice on the Allsorts and Snippets but you had shut the gate by the time I got there. Well slammed in my face I should say. lol
Will try again tomorrow and hope I can alter the link to the new week.
Bet you are all snuggled up now.
