Less is More too late

Ha, I found a card I'd been playing round with for last week's one layer Less Is More challenge, which was 'In a row' - I think it does probably still needs a sentiment and perhaps some nailheads, but here you go anyhow:
I've learned that Saturday is a very quiet day for blog visitors - so thought I'd sneak it in here when no-one is looking :)

I used:

- A6 white card stock

 - stamp by Santa Rosa, with no name. I've had it for ages and rarely use it as it's soooo fiddly to colour, yet without any colour it just doesn't look right somehow - stamped in 'Galaxy Gold' and coloured with Pro Markers

- double embossed lines above and below the image

Almost time for the Playground gates to close :)

  1. I like it but i struggle to do cas cards...I can't seem to tear myself away from the card to stop...you seem to have learned this technique! Those embossed tripes are perfect to "frame" your images.

  3. Oh Di . . . this is excellent and I love the embossed lines which finish it off perfectly. I don't know about a sentiment, it might detract from the row as the main feature? Oh, go on then . . . just a small one! xxx

  5. Not too quiet for moi Di!! I am hopeless at less is more cards. I could do it as a New Years Resolution - but as I never stick to them - what is the point!!!! I love the look of this card - I would only add a sentiment if I had to. Perfect as it is!

Big hugs to you Sue Pxxx

  7. Hmmmm I think if it were mine I'd add something but keep it simple. I have some lovely adhesive lace tape in white. I think I'd put a strip above and below the main bit.

  9. Well there are 9 of us that haven't missed this post, so far a better response than entering certain challenges, you know which I am refering to,lol.

Really cute card, lovely images and believe it or not I have sort of made a card based on this challenge, but not bothered with it and a tad too late but I have also incororated 2 other challenges as well that I can not be bothered to enter. In fact my NYR is not to enter any challenges with the exception of Rudolph Day and to really, really try to enter the snippets challenge.

Hope you have had a fantastic time in Germany

    Love
