Is it too soon for a yummy Christmas cake?

Not sure whether this is a mince pie or a cupcake - but it's surely a sweet Christmas cake to eat - and that means it's fine for Craftyhazelnuts Christmas Challenge which is festive food or drink:
I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- image cut from a Christmas card kept from 2011, love the sparkly berries :)

- SU backing card from the snippets folder behind the image and across the back of the sentiment

- backing paper from Echo Park's 'Season's Greetings' paper pack

- sentiment strip from my goodies store

All I did was cut and stick - simples! It's been a pretty up and down few days, life in general throwing a few curve balls has got in the way of crafting and I also need to catch up on commenting so that's my first job of the day, I'll be there ASAP I promise.

But, tomorrow's recipe for Friday Feast is the very best lasagne I have ever tasted of all the different ones I've cooked over the years :) I think you'll love it!

  11. That's not what I should be looking at at 7:25 in the morning Miss Di!! My breakfast has just paled by the way side now! You know what they say, when life throws you curves just late brake and aim for the apex! A racing analogy obviously, but I hope you get life's curves straightened out.

  16. Guess what, I don't like Lasagna. but if it is that good I may make it for my Daughter who loves it.
Great card, love the image and hope it is a cupcake, as guess what, I don't like mince pies. Great backing papers and oh such a great feeling to make a quick and easy card.
As you may guess I am back, been back a couple of days actually but lost the will to make cards and for some unknown reason to leave comments, could not get back into the swing of thing, this is the only comment I have made tonight. Like you I seem to have loads on at the moment and can not get a grip. I have even been and bought my eldest Daughter's 40th Birthday card, how sad is that, but I did decorate the inside. This weekend I have a couple of cards to make and to be quite honest I don't know where to start.
I will be off again, probably next Thursday but not too sure for how long. Just to let you know that I am still alive and very brown.
