A little more wrapping paper!

I found more pretty wrapping paper (made by Images & Editions), this time at one of the garden centres I was trolling round last week... so this is another card, not unlike the one wot I made earlier:

Same format really, white linen 6" x 6" card, a square of purple matt card topped with a square of wrapping paper. Then a couple of layered/3D butterfly stickers from Accessorize. I think I like this one even more than the previous (blue) one - the butterflies look so realistic I keep tickling their wings :))

A busy day here trying to protect a newly fledged baby blackbird from a murderous feline. Not sure who's more worn out, us or the parent birds. Obviously we couldn't go too close to the baby for fear of scaring the parents away but it's been fraught. Success so far and right now all is quiet on the Western Front. It's 1:30 am. so I should jolly well hope so too! ZZZZZzzzzzzzz.

  4. Hi Di
Loved the paper, I have just been on Karens blog. Like you I haven't heard from her, sent some cards but don't know is she received them. Tried her blog yesterday and it was down, but she has been on it since. Perhaps she is having problems with her computer. Hope she is OK. Sorry to bother you, but worried.

  5. Hi Di (and Gill!)
Gorgeous card, lovely colours. Have tried commenting a few times but keep getting kicked out. My blog was also deleted and I don't know why either. Pain is increasing lately hopefully with the cooler weather today might be a bit better. Got printer problems too, but hey, life could be worse! BFN, Karen x

  6. Hi Karen - I know Blogger had problems the other week much to everyone's anguish. Funny, I saw one of your latest postings in my blogger favoutites yesterday or the day before and when I tried to go to comment I got the 'Blog deleted message' too. It seems to be fine now though. Most peculiar....Hi Gill :)) I think there's a helpline if you carry on having problems! Di x

  7. Hi Di

Have heard from Karen, all seems well, blogs and emails are great when working well but a pain when not.
    Love your cards,

  8. Thanks Gill, and thanks for the sweet comment. I've heard from Karen too. All this new technology can be a bit of a headache! :) Fine when it works, a nightmare when it doesn't. Di x
