EDIT: The challenge is now open for an additional week (until Saturday 21st November) and you may enter twice.
Gosh, I'm quite stunned at the number of entries into the Playground this past couple of weeks (62!) with many of you hoping to win the Lawn Fawn 'Be Hap-pea' set of stamps and matching dies. I did think that would be a popular prize - it's such fun and very versatile. The draw will be in a week's time - good luck! Also, there are a whole raft of entries worthy of being 'picks' - I'm probably going to let Dudley have the final say in the picks ☺
It's been another funny old week really, with the prospect of a possible lockdown looming in Hampshire. And right now (Saturday, as I'm finishing this post off) it seems I was well ahead of the game when I wrote this paragraph - we're now faced with a possible overall lockdown within the next few days, right across England, and possibly the rest of the UK. Numbers have soared and at this rate, even with our emergency 'Nightingale' hospitals, the NHS faces being unable to cope. Also, if you do your grocery shopping online - delivery slots are already being snatched up like the initial lockdown. I now have three supermarkets in the mix so I can flip between them when the other(s) can't deliver- which is absolutely crazy and just like being a juggler. Chin(s) up girls - onwards and upwards as they say!
Now let's look at happy stuff - this fortnight I'm sharing the Playground with my lovely friend Sarn. She made a beautiful card which is shown below (I think the picture and link are all fixed now!):
This is what Sarn wrote about making her card:
Please do hop over to Sarn's blog HERE - called 'Stamping for Pleasure' - which she is currently posting regularly on. It's always been one of my favourite blogs, right from my very early days of blogging - just follow the link and you will land on her post about making this lovely card. It has step by step photos which are so worth seeing. The important thing to note is that Sarn flipped her piece of card upside down to ink the hills - working from dark to light.
And what a star Sarn is, she knew I already had a 'hare' prize lined up and her card links very nicely into it - so here's the prize for this fortnight:
It's a set of Lavinia 'Whimsical Hares' stamps - exactly the same as the one Sarn used her 'stargazing har'e from, along with an Inkylicious 'Mountain & Valley Sun/Moon' Stencil & Masks template - plus a brand new set of 10 makeup brushes for blending inks perfectly, almost the same as Sarn used for the inking of HER background. I have the same set of brushes here as the one on offer and love them, so velvety soft, really lovely to use and such a variety of sizes to enable you to ink into even the most intricate stencils with ease and as light a touch as you could wish for. I bought them from Amazon at a fraction of the cost of those sold under craft brand names, they're every bit as good ......... and they came from China needless to say. The template was already part of the prize anyhow and it's really versatile, but you can see how easily you can achieve the same effect by using torn paper for the hills and a punched circle from a Post-it note as Sarn did.
As is almost always the case, I won't be splitting the prize, but if you only want part of it for yourself then please feel free to join in the draw and when your package arrives with you, pass on whatever you might not want to a crafting friend. And please remember - it doesn't matter where you live in the World - I'm happy to post prizes, regardless of where you live.
As always, the Snippets Challenge will run for two weeks
and the Playground gates will close at 11am UK time on Saturday 14th November.
The gates will open again at midnight UK time on the same
day. Edit - the challenge is now open until Saturday 21st November and you may enter twice.
It's a maximum of ONE entry, please say in a comment if you wish to play and be a possible winner of the prize. Please also link back to the Playground in your blog post to be eligible for the draw.
As I'm typing this we're wondering what will happen with 'Trick or Treat' this evening. It's horrendous weather here right now, plus the threat of a further lockdown. However, some parents are saying they don't see why their children should miss out as so much has already been spoiled for them this year. Some will put sweets out and not answer the door. And some, like us, will skip it altogether - a shame as Dudley thinks it's such fun - but even putting a dish of sweets out and not answering the door won't necessarily work. Someone local apparently once did that and the first callers ran of with the lot - including the dish! I did chuckle when I read that on a local Facebook forum.
This afternoon, Saturday, I had a little baking session - for Dudley Dog! This is just half the mixture after it had been shaped and baked:
It's a batch of Dudley's very own low fat, high fibre Halloween treats, cooling down. We'd been horrified at the fat content of bought treats as well as all the additives, so I decided to make some and this is my first try. The recipe is pretty easy - namely oatmeal, pumpkin puree and grated apple with an egg to bind the mixture. The oatmeal is quite chunky, even though I blitzed it well, which still made rolling it out, then cutting the bone shapes, a bit 'tricky-woo'. The mix was too chunky for the smallest size of bone shaped cutter (yes, I truly am that sad a person - my 'boy' gets the real deal!) - so these will be snapped in half for his Lordship - if he even likes them! Half the uncooked mix has been frozen and three quarters of the baked ones you see above will also be frozen. So far Dudley hasn't tasted them (I've been tempted, as has Len, but we've resisted) but if he sniffs and walks off then we may just end up wandering around the neighbourhood giving them away! Dudley did like the leftover pumpkin puree - as recommended by Darnell. I'm baking a pumpkin pie tomorrow as today was too busy and I fully expect to have a 'dancing dog' beside me in the kitchen.
I chuckled once again when looking for chilli powder to add into our Ocado order. I always read the reviews if it's a product or brand I haven't tried before and one particular review for Ocado's own hot chilli powder carried the following warning in a review 'This will rip your face off'. 'Ah' thought I - 'bit of a subtle message there - best avoid that one then'!
Edit:The pumpkin treats got a HUGE high-five from Dudley - hooray! But - the little chap is now begging for more at every opportunity! 'Hoist by my own petard' - as the old expression says! Oh poop!
Lots of love from us all - Parsnip, Dudley and of course me. Stay safe - and sane (we're struggling here, grin!)
Maybe the problem is on my end, but I cannot see the photo of Sam’s card.
ReplyDeleteAnother amazing prize this week. Hope Covid doesn’t get too bad there. We’re bracing for it too here. Take care.
First up, wow, can't believe that, but I have been making Christmas cards at my desk today and trying to use those bits that have been sitting around - got three started today. Go Sarn great card, and oh yes I'd love to be in the drawer for the prize Di... and now haven't you been busy making Dudley treats, they look great and good that you've a stock on hand with the shut down - we saw it on our news here in Australia... keep safe, hugs Robyn
ReplyDeleteI heard this morning that you are back in country-wide lockdown - you have my utmost sympathies Di - 4 weeks at the beginning (March/April) was enough!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Dudley liked his treats :)
Stay safe (and sane)
Blessings
Maxine
Sadly no picture of Sarn's card - just says 'image preview'. Also the link to her blog not working (page not available) but found the lovely card by going onto her Home page. Great prize - back later with a card.
ReplyDeleteI have never bakes some treat for our Tom, because I hate cooking and baking. Can I send him to you? He would love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI think the link to Sarns card does not work, because I don't see it!
So, now I am going to make a card for your new challenge.
Stay safe in these crazy times,
Lia xx
Morning Di! I don't have a card to link up (yet) But wanted to let you know that the link to Sarn's blog doesn't seem to be working.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to see the Playground numbers up. We can still mingle here - and no masks or social distancing required!
Happy to hear his lordship approves of the new treats. I agree that a lot of the commercial treats out there are shockingly unhealthy. Give your boy a scritch behind the ears from me :) - that's Dudley not Len LOL!
Hugs, Vicky xx
Haha, hoist by your own petard indeedy, Di, it’s soo tricky with weight loss as we well now, but you’re sooo right re the fat and additive content in bought things, bake your own is best way to go.
ReplyDeleteOr not buy them which I do for a certain little person. YES PLEASE, to the candy, oops I just might have yelled in excitement, Miss, so sorry. I do love Lavinia masks and Stamps which we can’t get here of course and already asked re post cost and it’s too much as our $ exchange isn’t good. I’m not sure if it’s the time element but Sarns image isn’t showing nor is her blog link working, maybe I’m too early. Posted first thing this morning cos I have a TEN year anniversary can you believe it? Where do the years fly.
I’m praying for UK and US and poor France too and Euro, it’s a sad world. I am glad though it’s not bad in Poor countries, that would really be hard.
Keep well Di. I’m around although not commenting much. Been very busy ( made all my Christmas cards by mid last week, yay!) or resting and then resting some more.. usually in bed.
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too, especially in these unusual times, tis a blessing to rest simply in Him! Praying you’re all kept well too!
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊

Well it happened didn't it Di we are now going into lockdown on Thursday for a month something l think should of happened a few weeks ago lets hope people will abide by the rules to get us out of this pandemic we are enduring l love Sarn's card so effective it she is a talented lady, l am only playing for fun and well Dudley the more l read about him the more l feel he's part of the family lol take care stay safe and enjoy your day xx
ReplyDeleteI love the card Sam made. I had to look up the saying Hoist by my own petard. It cracked me up. Sorry to hear about the lock down. Over here we have so many conspiracy theorist. They think after the election is over that the COVID will go away and it wasn't real. Oh geez. There are crackpots every where.
ReplyDeleteI think you oughta give a taste test to Dudley's Delicious Doggy Desires.
It's a big "YES" for me on the prize. This Bunny knows cute bunnies and those are it. [Bunny]
Sarn's card is really pretty - love Lavinia stamps, tho I don't own any yet. (I will link up a card at a later date to play for this awesome prize - thank you!). And Dudley sounds just like my parrot, Rocky ... always begging for more 'cookies' (walnuts for him!) - "I want a good cookie!' he tells me; sometimes ten times in a row before he finally quits! lol There have been many times where he says 'I want a good, good, good, good, good, good, good (add about 10 more here!) cookie!" He is a character!! lol
ReplyDeleteWell, we got about 10 kids last night for Halloween. I really thought we'd get about twice that since we usually will get 100. And I even saw a group of 5 kids walk right by our house ... not sure why they didn't come up with the lights on & decorated for Halloween! ?? Anywho, I way overbought candy and now we'll have to eat it ... I will hide it from the hubby and ration it; otherwise, he'll be fat before Christmas comes! lol hugs, Becca
I'll be playing this week for sure! We have LOCKDOWN looming too.. it's just SO MISERABLE and SAD!
ReplyDeleteSorry that Dudley's weight went back up... he needs to come to Maddie Boot Camp... we walk at least 4 miles a day if not more ;) But those treats look YUMMY!
What a beautiful card by Sarn using this wonderful prize you have on offer this time Di, and I'm so pleased that Sarn is posting on her blog again. I will be a 'yes please' for the prize this time too. I'm pleased that Dudley really likes the treats you have made for him and some very artistic skills in shaping them into super bone shapes. I hope you have been enjoying your pumpkin pie today too, and round here last night there wasn't much trick or treat activity and the usual people who put their pumpkin lights out didn't bother, and we personally don't get involved, we just put a sign out wishing everyone a good Halloween but say we don't 'do' it, which is usually respected. x
ReplyDeleteWow, Di, this is such an amazing card. I love the scene you have created. I just love Lavinia stamps.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would love to be in the draw for the prize please.
Stay well and safe.
Hugs, Valerija
Fabulous card from Sarn this week! Love her tip about turning the card upside down to do the hills. I will definitely try that. I'm not going to play for the prize this week, however much I'd like to win it! It would just cost way too much for postage to the west coast of the USA. :-D
ReplyDeleteWith Di's avid encouragement, I'll toss my hat in the ring for the prize after all. :-D
ReplyDeleteLovely card from Sarn, I've not used Lavina stamps so that would be a first for me. Yes, please include me in the prize draw. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Sarn's card is absolutely delightful!!! Love, love, love the fabulous scene she has created with the Lavinia's hare and all the stunning details, it's just magical!!!! I just LOVE all Lavinia's stamps! These hares are just amazing, and also the set of blender plus the stencils, so YES please for being in the draw for the prize and fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteA new lockdown is really sad. :(
Instead your treats for Dudley are really stunning! Wow!!! They seem so yummy!! I could taste one, please? LOL :D
Hugs
A really fabulous post Brenda, our Sarn does do some fabulous creations and, between me and you, I am so glad that she seems to be creeping slowly back into wider blogging, fingers crossed. Thank you so much for your comment on my post but I have to admit, I loved the woof from Dudley.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week, who would have thought, this time last year we would be in such a state as we are today.
Kath xx
Sarn’s card is just beautiful. I must say that a have a weak spot for Lavinia stamps. Back in February we had a few days in Liverpool and I persuaded my hubby to make a ‘slight’ detour to the Lavinia shop in Ruthin, North Wales on the way home. Needless to say, I didn’t come out empty handed! I’ll be a Yes Please for the prize.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely doggie biscuits, Dudley is one lucky boy.
Off to the supermarket in the morning. Hopefully the panic buyers have left me some food to do my usual weekly shop! xx
Yes both fused now Di, been over to Sarns too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too, especially in these unusual times, a blessing to rest simply in Him! Praying you’re all kept well too!
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊

Great prize and super card for inspiration. Here is my offering - playing for fun this time around.
ReplyDeleteI love Sarn's card - and will pop over and tell her so. glad Dudley liked his lovingly baked treats and that they are good for him too. I've been going in store but I had some second sight and booked a click n collect for Friday this week! although with the panic buying wondering if there will be anything to collect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. Yes please to the prize. I am a bit of a hare fan and those brushes........ Impressed with your bone shapes. Like Dudley will care what the look like! Sounds like a very tasty recipe. Please do try one and let me know woof woof. Have pumpkins galore so puree not a problem. Bought some different taco sauces to try. After spotting one had 'Burn that Taco down!' on the label I think I will be trying to keep to the safe zone selection. Take care. Hugz
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card from Sarn... and miracle of miracles... I WILL be entering this time, but it will just be for fun xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a full and fun post, Di! First, awesome card made by Sarn! Thank you for having her featured. It's great to see her blogging again. You are the ultimate doggie mama with those amazing dog treats!! They are as cute as can be and I'm so glad he loves them ... even if maybe a little too much! I'm glad to hear the pumpkin went down well. It freezes in ice cubes trays to make it easier to add a bit to his food. I hope you are keeping well and it sounds like you are organized for the latest lockdown. I hope this makes any sense ... my mind is a mess with it being the day before election here. I'm not going to make any other comments for a while because it's just too hard to form words right now!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThat card from Sarn is just wonderful! Love the colours and the different stamps. So yes, please, I would like to be in the draw for the prize.
ReplyDeleteAll the best for you! Take care!
Hugs,
Liv xx
Very pleased to hear after all your efforts that the treats were appreciated by Dudley. Did have visions of you icing them or something to serve up at your next dinner party! Your friends card is amazing love all the little details, like the birds, she has added. For you I hope the weather is better this week and Dudley can get some longer walks/runs in to burn off those treats. Shame you cannot explain it all to him if he knew that the harder he exercised the more treats he would earn he would probably run you off your feet! Tempted by this fortnights prize but am resisting good luck to all those going for it! x
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love, Sarn's card! I have long admired those sweet hares! I almost wish our country would go to back to a full lockdown so fewer people would suffer from this virus. Now that we've all gone through it, it will be easier to maneuver through it again. Hopefully. You are the best doggie momma to back these treats for Dudley. Stay well and sane, my friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card from Sarn. Yes please to the prize.
ReplyDeleteGreat that Dudley likes the treats! Hopefully they help with his diet.
Fabulous card design and I am sure the doggies treats will be appreciated.
ReplyDeleteHugs Diane
wow, I love lavinia and I love your card, so cheerful, especially in these days. we are having second lockdown here, school holidays are extended because so many people are infected and in hospitals ...
ReplyDeleteand wow for Dudley's snacks!!
yes please for the prize.
have a great week.
hugs xx
Such a fabulous card. Glad Dudley is doing well Di! Please enter me in your generous drawing! Have a good day and give Dudley a treat for me.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous card from Sarn and I would love a chance to win the prize please Di.
ReplyDeleteI hope Dudley enjoyed the treats from your baking session!
Kath x
Such a pretty card! the little scene is fabulous! I'm a play just for fun this week, thanks!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card by Sarn. I quickly nipped over to see her post but will have to re-visit when I have more time. I recently bought a few Lavinia stamps so I need all the help I can get! Those doggy treats do look very appetising and hope your pumpkin pie was good too. I will be a Yes Please for the prize, thank you. Have a good rest of week, although there's not a lot we can do now is there? I think it's greenhouse clearing for me today as we only have 2 more green bins to be collected x
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card! And so glad that Dudley loved his sweet treats! I've been wanting some of those lovely brushes for a while but our budget keeps saying NO! So... I'd say a big yes to be in the draw this month. As always... you are so very generous, Di. And so very loved!
ReplyDeleteSarn's card is wonderful and I have to admit I never have owned any Lavinia stamps so it's a "yes please" for me in the draw this week. It's good to see her posting again for sure.
ReplyDeleteThose doggie treats look so danged cute and it's no wonder Dudley loves them. I used to make treats for my dogs too and the dachshund was so smart, she'd sit patiently by the oven waiting for them to finish baking! LOL Sorry for your lockdown again - this virus has just disrupted life for everyone as we once knew it. Take care in the meantime!
Sarn's card is delightful. Yes please to the prize, I would love to be able to blend so effortlessly and that hare set would be lovely for next Easter - which hopefully will be a lot better than last easter! Stay safe, hugs Kate
ReplyDeleteI'll be linking up my snippets card tomorrow. I always enjoy playing along because "snippets matter"...lol, and they deserve to be used and showcased and not just discarded (like so many people sadly do with their paper scraps). I love this challenge for that reason, and others. You're always so encouraging as well.
ReplyDeleteI've made my own dog treats for Belle as well. They're healthier, and then I know exactly what she's getting. And now that she has a heart condition (poor old girl), I try to be very careful about what we give her. Thanks for sharing that.
I absolutely LOVE those blending brushes. I own only two, but they're AWESOME. So, yes! I'm IN for the prize and as I've mentioned before, I don't mind paying for the shipping (if I should win). Thanks again for the FUN challenges.
Have a blessed week. I'll see ya tomorrow.
Haha, I love all those dog biscuits! They do look quite appetising. Lol. We are right to question what our pets are eating. If only I'd question my own treats! Love Sarn's card and Yes Please to this fabulous prize. Obviously I need more kit! Actually I was thinking of having a sort out and clearing out the rubbish. Not the snippets, of course. xxx
ReplyDeleteYes please to this prize. Sarn's card is so beautiful, and that dancing hare in the meadow is magical. I've wondered how those blending brushes work, but am still making do with my Tim Holtz foam blenders so far.
ReplyDeleteOh my, yum....those new doggie treats look scrumptious and I'm glad that dudley likes them too. Poor Dudley on a diet sounds like a sad case (said as I munch on pretzels and candy bars myself...argh).
I'm so sorry that the UK is entering another lock down. The impact on businesses (especially small business) is so terrible, but people just don't seem to be able to follow guidelines to keep them safer. Our county is looking at increasing COVID numbers again too, so I won't be surprised if we also take a step backward. So sad and frustrating.
Yes please for the prize.
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
It's a YES PLEASE to the fab prize this week - that stencil looks so useful matey - fab prize and thank you for offering up such fab goodies
ReplyDeletePoor Dudders, I know EXACTLY how he feels .. I do the same old same old and yet some weeks it's a pound up and some a pound down!! Good luck!
Happy Saturday all
Kathyk
You are definitely Doggy Mom of the Year, my friend! Look at those beautiful treats you made! Luckily, Fritz is on prescription food & can only have the prescription treats that match it. You might find it helpful to actually break them into pieces, so Dudley can have one more often. Funny how even a very small bite makes Fritz think he's had a treat. Sarn's card is beautiful & I have the same brushes from Amazon. They are actually exactly the same as the first ones released by Picket Fence. Now people have various colors, etc, but they're really all the same thing. Will never understand spending so much money on something just for looks. I think most if not all of them are made in China. Anyway, could use some more, so I'll keep my name in the draw this time. So sad the world has not been able to conquer this virus yet. Here we should be in lockdown as cases are the highest since the beginning & people still refuse to follow guidelines when it comes to friends & family especially. Somehow they think if you know the person they can't give you the virus. So much for not trusting science--what a shame! Good thing being home crafting keeps me happy & we're fortunate to be able to do outside pick up for groceries. Sending hugs & a pat on the head for Mr Dudley!
ReplyDeleteI went to Sarn's blog and love what I see. I am thankful for tutorial. Her stamping is gorgeous. Yes, I would like to participate in the draw for prize.
ReplyDeleteNow I am showing the card which I made, and I say YES in capitals to the prize, because I am a fan of Lavinia stamps!! Thank you so much for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, happy sunday
Lia
Sarn's card is just gorgeous! I love the look of silhouettes! I hope you stay well and things don't get too dire. Another great prize that I would love to be considered to win. I love to join the fun! Take care! :)
ReplyDeleteMade it this time Di!
ReplyDeleteSarnie (as usual) produced a yummy make - a bit like your little treats for Dudders!
This in/out in/out Tier number 15 or whatever is starting to wear a bit - I remember when Tiers were cake layers. I suspect too that at the end of this lockdown month another tier will be introduced (and I don't mean one that you save for the Christening either!)
Stay safe - and of course YES PLEASE cos obviously I haven't got enough scrummy Lavinia stamps. xxx
I would love to play along again this month :) Hugs, Hayley xx
ReplyDeleteOoh, so much to admire in this post. Sarn's card is so beautiful, and I love those hare stamps. Yes yes yes to the prize! Not only do I love those hares, but the stencil would be so helpful in making all types of scenes, as would those make up brushes. I haven't ever used a brush to apply ink but maybe it would help me make less of a mess than usual, lol.
ReplyDeleteThose doggy treats look so yummy that I would be tempted to sneak a bite or two myself. I often make up a big batch of cookie dough and freeze half too. Sounds like lucky Dudley will be getting fresh baked treats for the next month or so .
Hi Di, Good on you for taking part in the survey thingy - I am sure anything you provided will be a big help to them doing their study - and so grateful you were negative!! I definately want to win the rpize on this turnabout! The hare's are just gorgeous and I wouldnt mind having those blending brushes :)
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay well - Cheers Maurs xxx
Yes, please to the prize. It would be a nice birthday present for me! Have a wonderful day, Di. Oh, and those dog biscuits look good enough for a human to eat!
ReplyDeleteHi Di the card is gorgeous. It is a yes please to the prize this time from me. Dudley is so lucky to have those dog biscuits. Have a good week. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteHello Miss Di - remember me?
ReplyDeleteI am back after a very long absence - have I missed anything?
So glad you are still running the playground and hope everyone is behaving themselves :-)
Wow! Sarns card is beautiful and I must pop over and let her know.
Just playing for fun today thank you.
Hugs
Eve xx
Hello Di!
ReplyDeleteThank you for wonderful challenge and prize!
I hope you have a wonderful autumn!
Take card! Hugs, Gloria
This is a super card from Sarn with those lovely Lavinia stamps. Please toss me in the mix for the prize Di...that is if Mr Linky has worked! xx
ReplyDeleteYes please count me in Di. Those doggy treats look very yummy to humans too. CarolG
ReplyDeleteThose biscuits look sooooo delicious. Fab silhouette card from Sarn and a YES PLEASE from me for the prize (will be back a bit later with my card).
ReplyDeleteHugs from Finland,
Eemeli
Very late to the party, but here at last. Sarn's card is lovely (as they always are) and her explanation has me wanting to try her techniqu3es, so I'm a yes for the prize draw, please.
ReplyDeleteDi, you are such a good doggie mum. I'm pretty sure Dudley would be perfectly happy if the treats weren't bone-shaped, but they do look great.
Sarn's card is stunning - I can't promise that if I win I will be able to produce anything as gorgeous but I'd love to be in with a chance to try!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon, I'm in the wars too, still recovering from a nasty fall last week. This is the first time in over a week my arms have been up to doing any die cutting.
So very sorry Di. I accidently added two cards to the blog. Not thinking. Can you please just delete the second card.(52) I was having trouble with linky and was playing around. I didn't think it had gone through.
ReplyDeleteJust added my second entry for your fab draw and it's another resounding YES PLEASE to an entry
ReplyDeleteThank you and Happy Friday
Kathyk
Glad I checked in here again and saw that you have extended the deadline and are allowing 2 card entries this time! I've been busy in the craft room this week so have been whittling down those snippets left and right. Already said yes please to the prize, but just feeling chatty again anyway.
ReplyDeleteVery happy to see that I can participate in this challenge twice. Thanks for oportunity to win this fabulous prize. Yes, I would like to be in the draw.
ReplyDeleteYes please to the prize. I'm glad Dudley loved his treats. I hope you are feeling better today. I'm off to look at Sarn's blog just in case I win I'll know how to use them ;)
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Yes please! How could I resist this awesome prize and awesome card from Sarn!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are in pain Di, look after yourself xxx
Yes for the prize. I was just about to order those brushes when I saw the prize. Guess I'll wait to see if I win. Love the background and soft colors on your card.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful scene. Beautiful stencilling.
ReplyDeleteYes please for the awesome prize.
Am back! (A bit like Arnie)
ReplyDeleteSent you a mail, hope not too painful, big hugs. xx
I'm back with another entry, thanks for the opportunity to leave another but sorry to hear about your shoulder. I've been in therapy for the last month due to a soft tissue injury in my right shoulder. It's been awful, painful and inconvenient. I feel your pain! Literally.
ReplyDeleteHi Miss Di, sorry I've been playing truant, but Mojo went into hiding!
ReplyDeleteSarn's card is gorgeous, such a wonderful scene and fabulous colouring. Those Dudley treats look scrumptious... and I'd definitely have a little taste of them!
Please can I go in the hat for this fabulous prize xx
Yes, indeed I'd love to be picked in the draw for the prize this time. Thanks for the chance. I hope you continue to rest your shoulder and will feel better soon. Take good care and stay safe. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the challenge Yes for me please'for the beautiful prize. Greetings Elly
ReplyDeleteJust entered my second card, Di. Thank you for the second chance to win the hares and brushes! Do you have the proportions/baking instructions for the dog bone recipe? If so, I'd love to have them. Glad Dudley approved.
ReplyDeleteI have enterd my Star-card now and I would like to be in the draw. The stamps are amazing and so is your card.
ReplyDeleteI hope, you are feeling better now and wish you all the best!!
Lia xx
Yes please to this prize. Sarn’s card is indeed beautiful. Love the way the background is created.

Due to the extension, I have got to play, hooray! But not hooray for the reason at all - I hope your shoulder is getting better. Yes Please, Yes Please, Yes Please! I would love to be entered into the draw for the wonderful prize. Sarn's card is gorgeous! Sounds like your doggy treats are yummy by Dudley's reaction - i am glad your efforts were worth it! ReplyDeleteForgot to say stick me in the prize pot please. Stitches should be coming out this afternoon. Hugs Mr A.
ReplyDeleteMy first visit to the Playground so I'm a little scared. I've told people through my blog I'm here, so no bullying or I'll complain! I'd love the generous prize and glad I have a chance. Thanks Di and Sarn for the wonderful prize mwah!

ReplyDeleteDi it is many years since I took part in your challenge. I am so happy to see you are still going strong and using up your snippets.

Oh Di I so hope you are feeling better this getting older lark and taking a bit longer to recover is not funny is it. I'm taking advantage of your offer and have entered a second project! But continue to ask to be kept out of the draw, don't feel the need to comment on my post your body needs a rest xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove Sarn's card - the blended background is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDudley's treats look yummy - I used to make something similar for our golden retrievers many years ago...flavoured with Bovril!
I'm a 'yes please' for the prize draw.

Wow what fabulous cards by everyone. Just made it in time for the challenge. So pleased he liked the bones my baby isn't allowed anything as he has to go on special food and tablets as he has lost 2kg since lockdown in March and a scan has showed he has a problem with his galdblader not thinking it is stones more to do with the lining something they say shelties has a problem with. So his treats are now a few more kibble. When it settles I am thinking of maybe asking if I can make some. Freezing is a good idea. Yes I would to be put in the draw would to try these brushes do you have a l I nk to them. Thanks
