It may even be the variety 'Elizabeth' - wish I could say that it's named for me but suspect it's more likely to be after the present Queen Elizabeth or her mother. Whatever, it's gorgeous whilst mine hasn't done much at all this year so far, and neither has my neighbour's which is older and bigger :( I'm hoping for a late flowering. It's an early f...It's the clematis Montana. It's an early flowering fast growing variety. Normally you just prune it to keep it in check. Cut it back harder after flowering if need be.
