Dudley update

He's home again, went in at 8:30 this morning and we finally got to pick him up at 4pm! Today was one of the longest days ever and the house was so quiet. In fact, it still is as Dudley is somewhat groggy and sleeping most of the time. In between twittering like a little distressed bird - bless him. We'd been warned about the twittering etc. - thankfully.

And yup, he's wearing a very smart dark blue 'onesie' with his plume of a tail poking out. He does look rather cute I must admit.

I'll add an update to this Sunday's Snippets Challenge results post but wanted to just let you know in the meantime that he's through the little op. 10 days until the lab tests are back but we're staying upbeat about that. He goes back to see the vet on Monday for his first post-op check-up, then a week later it's results time.

Thank you so much for your concern to date - it means more than you'll ever know.

Love,

  2. Hi Di, thanks for make we know about the little Dudley, we love him!
Surely today he will sleep for a long time, and when he wakes up he’ll be very groggy and unstable on his paws, but don't worry, tomorrow he will run again as an elf!! :)
    Fingers crossed for the results!
Big hugs to you both and A LOT of cuddles to him!

  3. Thanks so much for the update on Dudley, was thinking about him yesterday. Positive vibes for the results and I'm sure his onesie will keep him warm in the colder weather we've been promised - that has to be better and more comfortable than a huge plastic 'lampshade'!!
