Petals and Poetry - and a snippet

Just to say, thank you so much for all your lovely comments and it's great to see the playground busy. Today is a last flurry of activity here and I hope it's without the traumas of the weekend - we only went through a fifth flight alteration :( And of course sorting out all the knock-on effects such going through seat selection again, changing the airport parking times, reprinting loads of stuff - and at one point running into the shower room for a few tears of pure frustration.

So, I'd totally forgotten that I actually had made a card using a tiny little snippet last Friday:
The sentiment was stolen from inspired by Sarn's idea here.

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- backing paper from the Prima 'Annalee' set

- Penny Black Stickeroo from the 'Petals and Poetry' sheet

- sentiment from the SU 'Just Believe' stamp set, stamped onto a snippet of pink card using 'Certainly Celery' and then punched using SU's decorative label punch. I then tickled the edge of the punched shape with more 'Certainly Celery' ink

- green organza ribbon from the ribbon box

Thankfully the back is a lot better at the moment too. Not absolutely right but OK - just so long as my pack horse 'bearer' helps with the luggage :)

Make sure you all follow 'Elf an' Safety' in the playground during construction work.

  10. Beautiful card Di, love the subtle pink with the lime green ribbon.

Well, looks like I will have to unpack, I was very carefully watching the weight, not mine, unfortunately, but the suitcase, one quick mail and I was ready.
What a trauma though, we had something similar once, only going to Malta, the tickets arrived and they were the wrong date, replacement tickets arrived that had us flying from some Scottish airport, finally had tickets, delivered by Courier the day before we were due to depart and, yes, flying from Manchester, but to Heathrow and then on to Malta. The plane was late taking off and we thought we would miss the connection but we were wizzed underground, talk about a fairground ride, I felt sick, had to run miles to the terminal and made the flight by the skin of our teeth but decided that the luggage wouldn't have made it, but, it did. No-one to meet us at the airport, no-one had been informed that we were on the flight but managed to get a lift with the same Company taking 2 others to the same resort. Was a great holiday though, so hope after all the trauma yours is too.
