Christmas stockings

When I got back from holiday, there was a little packet of either punched or die cut cuties to play with waiting here for me from Sam. Thank you honey!

Some were darling little Christmas stockings, so I had a quick play:

Just a slight difference between the two cards, I dropped one of the tiny contrasting 'spots' on the floor here and no way could I find it again so had to assemble the second four stockings and use little peel off gold stars instead.

I used:

- 7.25" x 2.75" white card stock

- pink backing paper the Marianne Design 'Merry Little Christmas' paper pack

- fine gold cord - dragged all the way back from Hobby Lobby in Santa Fe

- those cute little stockings, love the curly toes :) popped on with sticky pads

- greetings strip from my goodies, am almost sure it came from Hobbycraft

Another two for the box. Not long until September's Rudolph Day now girls!

  1. Cute cards...Thanks for dropping by to visit little miss C (aka the pony girl).
Perhaps you noticed the wee sewing machine still sitting in the box proudly displayed on her art table!

My daughter took her to michaels and she decided to spend some of her card money to buy something for her stash. She chose the sewing machine and told her Mum...Grandma will know how it works and she will teach me!!!

Oh Lordy...that child can keep this old Grandma busy! I guess she has seen some cards with stitching on them and wants to try it too...

In all the excitement of the book she is going to write etc, she forgot to share about her sewing machine! teehee I wasn't about to remind her!

Hopefully, after school tomorrow, we will finish a snippet's card she is making for the Pixie's Workshop.
