But, I didn't use a stamp so the colouring isn't my own - let's set the record straight right off :) It's from a decoupage sheet and I didn't even tackle any layering - hope it's OK for the challenge, they do state stamp/image in the rules and I did spot at least one DT card that used pre-printed images so I hope I'm not 'drummed out' for non-compliance. But hey, I had fun anyhow - love the humour of House Mouse :)
I used:
- 7" x 5" white card stock
- House Mouse image and sentiment from the 'fun and Games' Joanna Sheen decoupage set
- backing papers from Tatty Teddy's 'Spring Chic' pack (nice thing about these is that they're patterned on one side and a mixture of patterned and plain on the reverse so they co-ordinate beautifully)
- Martha Stewart edge punch
- a strip of Anita's adhesive ribbon
It had to be a quick and easy make as I'm trying to keep moving around right now - been overdoing it sitting typing away here again :(

Would the "Good Luck" stamp help you qualify?
ReplyDeleteI often make what I call "quickie cards". Sometimes life is too busy for a full on card, sometimes I just want to use up my stash, sometimes I just am too sore to sit long enough for a full on card...
So quickie cards it is!!! teehee
Yours is so cute!
Wow, what an adoreble card! I just love this image, I've never seen it before but I think I have to have it! Your coloring is just amazing, I love the crayons and the stone, it all looks so alive...

If there is one set of stamps guaranteed to bring a smile to my face every time it's HM Di. The expressions are more than cute and I don't think I have ever seen a bad stamp. Love your card and it certainly deserves to be in the challenge - loads of luck to you.

Lovely card, Di, and if it isn't acceptable it should be. I've now got my pc in a bedroom rather than the craft room just so I do have to get up and move about some. The EM worked it out that the number of times I went up and down stairs in a day amounted to seriously good exercise ... who would have believed it :)) Hugs, Elizabeth xx

These are the cutest little guys. I think it's a great card; and if you had not been so honest, would not have known it was a decoupage! Got to get me some of those!!! Found out about the free shipping at LOTV, so I bopped over & got some of those lovely things I've been seeing used at the Playground. TFS.
